Doilies and fabulous Silhouette

DSCF2489

Hi,.....today at Just Imagine Crafts I have this fun card to share with you...... layers of doilies to form a super cute gown with amazing punched layers.. .. all mated to show the details of the punch and gives it the lacy look too.
Using the star template I punched 2 layers to start the dress with punch # 303.

You start by cutting the 1st doily to form a neck line and thin waistline and start into the flowing lower part of the dress. The 2nd doily is  used to add length to the skirt section.

DSCF2492

You just cut using trail and error to shape the bodice and start the skirt lines.

I then cut 2 more doilies punching this time with #302 and matting them the same. These 2 I layered slightly off centre and lower. Love the layered lacey look of the flowing skirt of the dress. Really easy after you have the doilies all punched first.
I used fun pearl accents, borders, a SRM floral sticker and also punched 2 more corner accents using punch # 303 and mated them also.
Thanks for stopping by today.. I enjoyed sharing with you today.

Robin's Nest, Animal Prints and Gina's Design

ANIMAL PRINTS
Hi, here today with my 2nd Design Team post with the amazing Robin's Nest
and I had a great time this month sharing creations using
Robin's Nest Animal Prints and Gina Design Accents.
Who would have believed that the layout below could be so elegant and rich using animal prints.

Supply List:
Ace of Diamonds Dew Drops
Dew Drops Solid Color
Gina's Design:  Cardstock Doiley Set Intricates
Miniatures Shape Set - Ladies Choice
Punches: Martha Stewart
Other: Kraft Paper, twine, Punchinella, washi tape, letters and stickers and
an ink rolled accent.

In the close ups you can see the punched border, fun washi tape borders, the twine tied
around the mat  and the amazing stone accented doilies.
I made the smaller punched border to be a shelf like piece with stones to
display the Gina Designs shapes.

On this doily I added stones on the outer edge and double popped a
punched butterfly. You can also view the washi tape, punchinella accent
and the fun ink rolled on accent.

Hexagons, Octagons.. they are all so popular right now so on the card I used both sides
of the paper and mixed the colours ans sizes of the the shapes.
I added a doodled outline also... and mask painted yet some more shapes.
I love fussy cutting so 1 large flat elephant and 2 popped up fussy cut elephants and
a SRM sentiment make a cute card.

We'll this was my 2nd post this month  and
I have to say that I had more fun than I thought I could with Animal Prints.
Thanks for stopping by .. and hope to see you again soon.

Beautiful

Let's Get Sketchy has fun on the 5th Monday of the month. We  share
whatever inspires us this day.... and I love multi tasking.
My Grand Daughters grad photos prompted me to make this page.
I needed a sketch with more than 1 photo and wanted to highlight 1 more than
the others..... and Cookin' Up Creations Sketchathon #2 sketch was perfect and the
twist was to use some ink with I masked some florals and rolled some upper and
lower corners with more ink. DCWV collection was rich and elegant and
the cluster of flowers with glitter and bling was perfect.

Cookin' Up Creations and Scraplift

Cookin' Up Creations celebrates every month with a member scraplift.
Below is the page I chose from jeaunes. I was attracted to the many fabulous
layers with angles.

I used Authentique, lots of inking, and great collection of accents.

I made the twine flower, fussy cut some flowers from paper, add a twined tag,
added some buttons and also some Robin's Nest dew drops.

Lately I use punchinella for an added and different accent.

Baby Girl

DSCF2450 resized

Hi .. this week.. I am sharing a sleeping baby page.  I dug into my baby stash for this one.. everything from papers to accents of all kinds... and even star rub ons.
I used this sketch from Cookin' Up Creations #11 and the twist was to use a photo of a sleeping baby.
For Just Imagine Crafts I am using the Kreaxions punch and circle cutter.
11
DSCF2451
Some pages just need a helping hand.. this title was so huge it needed to have some extra base support.... So I added the ring circle cut with Kreaxions Circle Cutter... and when I punched the photo corners to soften the dark photos... I felt that the background paper needed softer corners too so I punched with Kreaxions #307. Only 2 small things but they made the world of difference on the finished page.

So glad you could stop by today.. so until next time...

Robin's Nest, Animal Prints and Gina's Design

ANIMAL PRINTS
Hi, here today with my first Design Team post with the amazing Robin's Nest
and am anxious to share Robin's Nest Animal Prints and Gina Design Accents.
It is really amazing once you get going as to what you can do with these prints .. and
I didn't even use it for any animal  or nature layout pages. Hope you like some of my examples
and are inspired to use these fun prints to make your pages too.

The first page is a Family Affair
Supply List:
Teal Giraffe Cardstock
Ace of Diamonds Dew Drops
Dew Drops Mini
Gina's Design:  Cardstock Doiley Set Intricates
Miniatures Shape Set - Ladies Choice
Punch: Kreaxions #303
Pen: Signo white gel
Other: flowers, stickles, chipboard letters, sticker letters, cardstock

In the close ups I'll share some of the details.

Lots of fun layers and the doily accent with more fabulous stones to
accent into the shape for even more dimension and depth.
Even a very small thin punched border gives the layers added colour and depth.

This corner has a floral flower with stickled petals and the shiney stones  are add to the centre.
In the corners I doodled the stitches with a Signo white gel pen.

This amazing cluster boasts Gina's doilies and the
mini shapes with some added glitter stones.
Together they add an elegant touch to the page.

Next up is Family
Supply List:
Robin's Nest: Pink Zebra Glitter Cardstock
Black n White Animal Print
Black n White Glitter Paws
Chocolate Glitter Leopard Cardstock
Freedom Tear Drops
Gina's Design: Banner Builder Dovetail Minis
Border Punch: EK Success, Kreaxions #310
Pen: Signo white gel, micro black
Other: cardstock, toothpick flag, ric rak, twine, washi tape,

In the close ups I'll share some of the details.

For the title I choose to use the banner set by Gina's Design and added some
Sticker letters. In the punched accent I added washi tape and some doodling .
In this section you also catch a glimpse of the ric rak and the cute flag
made with cardstock and a toothpick.
In the border is a punched section which I matted with pink cardstock so
the punch would pop off the page.

Twine is every where right now and I chose to wrap it around the
mat piece a few times and tie a bow. Using pink added more pop of colour
that is pulled from the Pink Zebra Glitter paper.

This close up shows the Freedom Tear Drops...
just along the pink zebra paper and the pink pop of border...
Makes for an clustered section of pink.

Last but not least I have a Shaker Birthday card for you with a short tutorial on
How to make a Shaker Card.
Supply List:
Robin's Nest: Blue Glitter Elephant
Pink Glitter Leopard Cardstock
Riverside Mini Dew Drops
Dew Drops Mini
Gina's Design: Banner Builder Dovetail Minis
Pen: signo white gel
Stickers: SRM Stickers
Other: twine, foam

You start with a card base size (bottom centre photo).... and on it you can faintly see the pencil marked
box where I would like the shaker section to be.
On the upper left is a piece of plastic the same size as the penciled box.
I actually cut this plastic from a kids game that I pulled apart.
On the upper right is a box frame with the outer edge the same as
the original penciled box on the outside and I just
cut the inside of box smaller than the thin foam I am using
so the foam will be covered.

Here is the box pencil line covered with thin foam leaving
no visible openings to she beads or stones done ever come out.
Fill the inside with stones as many as you'd like. I don't over
fill it because I still would like the picture of the elephants shows through.
You then put your piece of plastic on top of the stones and over the foam
covering it totally from view. now place the frame on top of the plastic.

The last step is to accent the rest of the card any way you'd like.
I choose to use the Gina's Design banner pieces and added
Pink Glitter Leopard Cardstock on top of them..
and added some twine to accent and finish the banner.
The frame has some white gel pen doodles, and the ric rak border,
sentiment and heart are SRM Stickers.
It really is easy to make shaker cards.. just follow the easy to follow instructions.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget we have Animal Prints on sale this month at 20% off.

SWAT with Sketch & Twist

Today at SWAT we are using the sketch below with a twist to use Patterned Paper ONLY.
Now that was a touch of a challenge but I love it how it turned out.
I used American Crafts from my stash.

This fun corner is gesso, chevron, punched paper and twine.

Fun punchinella, a Kreaxions punched outer edge, centre stitche chevron and
a border punched and also a chipboard accent.

This area shows more of the punched circle, the fun octagons, a ribbon stapled,
and fun title with chipboard  journal strips and a closer look
at the punchinella.

Fun upper corner with arrow chipboard accented with SRM Stickers.
