Terrifically Thrilling Thursday at Just Imagine / Kreaxions

This week my posts included using my favs.
The circle cutter and the BUTTERFLY PUNCHES #901 @ #604
Starting with a center circle, then using the positioning parts
to punch out the butterfly inside circle border.
The out side corners on the card
used the adapter piece C.
On the layout I used scallopped edge scissors.
On both I punched the butterflies and stickled the wings.
Prima pearls accented both.
On the layout the borders were layers of paper,
lace and ribbon. The cluster of flowers was
put together with ribbon tied in a bow.
I added machine stitching on the layout and
cricut cut 2 colour titling.
These were so much fun to make.. hope you love them
as much as I loved making them.
Hope you have a scrappy day.. see you again
next Thursday when I get to share again with you.

Just Imagine/Kreaxions Punches

is my weekly posting.
This week I did some early Christmas cards.
This first one I used the positioning parts and
Kreaxions Punch #906 from inside the
cut out circle made with the
Kreaxions circle cutter of course.
All the cut outs allowed for a background
of bright red which made the design just
pop of the page.. and the pop up tree was
perfect for the centre.
I added some stickers, ribbon and gel dots.
On this card I used the star plate pattern.
The red one I left plain for staggered background..
and the yellow one I used the Kreaxions Punch # 902.
The flowers around the outer edge are from
the punch outs.
I used some stickers, stickles, and
doodled with the white pen.
These cards were fun and easy with Kreaxions.
Hope you have a scrappy day and I
look forward to seeing you again
next Thursday.

to get that info.

I wish I may, I wish I might
is the Scrap Your Story Challenge for
Sept. 1st
When I was young... I wished to be
a Majorette and twirl baton.
Started out with a trial year which
proved that I could do it,
took it seriously and practiced.
Also proved that I was good at it.
From there I joined a studio where
I moved up quickly. I spent 11 years
twirling competitive, solo, duets,
Jr. Corp and Team and
Sr. Colour Guard.
I taught for 10 years, groups,
solos and the Woodstock Corp.
It was an amazing part of my youth
and I have fond and happy memories.

Scrap A Little

Helen at Scrap A Little posted her September sketch.
I had fun playing with this one.
This layout reminds me of the many summer days
when I watched the grandkids. We'd go to the park for lunch,
feed the animals, walk around the block
and we ate lots of popsicles together.

My Sketch World is jumping into September

My Sketch World didn't waste any time
jumping into September.. the new DT
has already posted amazing challenges.
The above LO is Malin's challenge to use WHITE ONLY
plus silver .... I had the perfect photos for this one..
a wedding of course... what else is more elegant.
The coloured flowers is an actual photo of the
centre pieces on the tables.
Lucy's Colour Palett Challenge was to use the
colour below to make a card.
Lots of fun.. used the cute copic coloured digi image
and ripped, inked and mounted it
on distressed background.
Accents includes bling, flowers, ribbons, stitching
and border punching.

This is Katie's Challenge .. to use either
a tape measure or ribbon.
I didn't have a paper with a tape measure on it
so I drew it on myself.
I still used ribbon to accent, metal domes,
a sticker and the cute copic coloured image.

My Sketch World and Party Time Tuesday

Challenge for today is to make a Birthday card
and add some brads.. because then we can enter
it into the challenge over at Party Time Tuesday
where she is a new DT member.
I am learning quickly how to multi
task and submit to more than one challenge.
I used some sparkly mesh, a copic coloured digi, some layering,
some doodling and a clear sentiment.. OH and the brads....

Paper Medallion Flower #4 Video Tutorial

The Paper Medallion Flowers are used on this layout
for accents.... when you make your own you can
colour match with whatever papers and colours you like.
Here is the card from the video. I used the Paper Medallion Flower #4
to pop the little penquin on as an accent on this card.

The medallions are very versitile.
How many uses can you find for it.
I challenge you to leave a comment, join and follow me
and make some medallions to share with me on
either a card, layout or altered project.
Then be sure to use the inlinz below to link to your blog.
Oct 1 I will random draw for a RAK from me.
Hope you will play along.
