Dies R Us showcases an Easy Arrow Folded Card

Hi .. How are you today. This DT project for Dies R Us showcases a Thank You card made using some die cuts and super fun layers for depth and dimension along with Scraperfect Best Glue Ever and Vintage Photo inking on the edges.. I am also sharing an Easy Arrow Card Shape.

Supply List:
Glue: ScraPerfect Best Ever Glue
Ink: Tim Holtz Vintage Photo
Machine/ tools: Big Shot Express,
Other: Cardstock, Flower, glitter

This is a super fun and easy card but the different shape added so much to the design.
HERE is the LINK for the pattern details in a VIDEO

So following the pattern then cut pattern papers to fit the spaces but leaving the white border all around.
I die cut the accents and went from there.

This is the postioning of the pieces.... I cut the butterfly die apart and matted some of the butterflies so they popped on the busy print.

In the close ups you can better view the details. When it was together I added sparkles to the flower and glued to the card front.

In the close up you get a better view of the die cuts - some matted some not.

Creative Embellishments project using Hockey accents

OMG one hockey season is over and another in the works... it never ends and I love capturing lots of the years hockey action for Jake's memory books.
Creative Embellishments has so many fabulous and amazing sports accents to help create all your sports pages.
For this page I started with a fun stamped and inked background.

Supply List:
Creative Embellishments Products
Stamp: Halftone Circle
Other: paint, ink, liquid pearls, cardstock, copics, black pen.

I lay things out before gluing things down.

I treated the chipboard accents with paint, copics and also based some with gesso and then added liquid pearls and more ink.

Liquid pearls makes thing glitter and shine.

In this close up you can view the wolves photo logo hand cut and the Waterloo Wolves photo cut sub title along with another great grunge star accent.

Hard work is centred on the stamped image. I copic coloured the alpha letters with black.

The central section with photo is surrounded by amazing accents.

Thank You Card at Dies R Us

Hi .. How are you today? This DT project for Dies R Us showcases an Easel style Thank You card made using some die cuts, super fun layers for depth and dimension along with Scraperfect Best Glue Ever and Vintage Photo inking on all the edges..

Supply List:
Glue: ScraPerfect Best Ever Glue
Ink: Tim Holtz Vintage Photo
Machine/ tools: Big Shot Express,
Other: Cardstock, Echo Park Alice in Wonderland, metal brad

To start you make you base for standard card of use ready made from store. The front cover of base card is then folded in half as per above. We will then cut another cardstock single base the size of the card to work on.

So using the single base cardstock you cut you pull paper and die cuts you hope to use and star cutting them. I chose a forest green background... then cut the white border edge. I pulled the floral print and used the die to cut just the border edge to match the white border where it would fit.

Here is the layers all assembled.

I then using a centre forest green border to help pop the white sentiment "Thank You".

On the inside of card I backed with forest green, added the floral print and die cut another white die cut border.

I added an extra thin strip to separate the floral from the white.

From the side now you can see the folded front cover waiting for the single white piece that we totally finished to add to it. You only add glue to the half fold and place the front single accented piece matching up the edges and keeping things straight.

The lip of the scalloped border will serve and the stopping edge to make your card stand up.
When placing into the envelope just fold it down flat and your done.
