Video Tutorial for 3D Flower

If you like this flower on the card... be sure to view the video I made and try making them. I called it the 3D Flower On the card I stamped the leaves and the sentiment... added layers with ink edging.. added some stickles and brads for the finishing touches..

Also below is a layout using the same flower only sized to 1 1/4" size... just slightly smaller.

Hard to see but I pierced the title on this layout and stitched it with embroidery thread. The border punch is Martha Stewart and doodle inked the lines around the photos.

With tears in my eyes I share with you today

Meljen's Digital Design has a fabulous idea to share with all their members.

It was to share memories.

I thought it was truly amazing idea and I just got the post that I won...

the Fisher Moose digi which was made in memory of

Melissa's Dad... Keith L Smith.

Everytime I use the digi I will now think of my DAD.

Reading it again brought tears to my eye. I'd like to share what I wrote about my dad.

"what a fabulous idea...my memories are of my dad who has been gone since June 1988... he was an amazing supportive friend, father and I am so glad my boys got to know their grandfather. He was always popping in, visiting, helping, giving advise, helping with something that needed fixing, and above all fun and loving. He is dearly missed."

Thanks all those at Meljen's Design.. it was amazing to share memories and I am sure everyone had fabulous memories of those close to the heart... for the rest of you out there take time today and remember someone close to your heart.

stickles, foil papers in layers,

glossy accents with white glitter powder over the snowman to make him shine too

and finish it off with a great christmas coloured ribbon.

Martha Stewarts Paper Evergreen Tree

This video below will detail the folds which I found difficult even after reading the instructions and watching the video... hopefully this will help you too.

Here is the link to Martha Stewart Paper Evergreen Trees.

Meljen's Digital Design Challenge #33

was to use food element on the card.
This is just the cutest worm and apple.
We Scrap also had a challenge to use a frame
and also use a font background. I didn't have any

stamped the sentiment font many times.

No better way to celebrate then with food.
Multi tasking this card was fun.

My Sketch Word 1 1/2 hour Sketch Challenge

Background scrap, border of paper with lace on top, the cutest
Pattie's Creations Digital Image and an epoxy sentiment.
I turned the sketch upside down.
I kept this one simple... embossed the background, added
scrap squares, corner accent and the epoxy sentiment.
For this card I embossed the centre piece, stitched all around, added
the butterfyl with a pearl trail and an epoxy sentiment.
Below is the sketch.
After making the LO we had to use the scraps to make the above cards.
Below is Lucy's amazing LO sketch used on this LO above.
I had fun making the cluster of flowers, adding the lace and stitching on this one.

Everyone had a great time with the 1 1/2 hour sketch challenge.
Amazing projects in the gallery to prove it.
Be sure to check it out at MY SKETCH WORLD.
