Let's Get Sketchy and scraplifting other DT pages

Hi everyone.. At Let's Get Sketchy when we have a week #5 in a month we have so
much fun creating a special project to share with you. So today is to scraplift from
one of the other DT's. The page below is from Alison.. isn't it stunning with beautiful elements
and accents. I chose to turn it side ways and had so much fun with circles, stamps, floral accent
and a metal accent. Lots of layers of strips and slightly monochromatic with touch of tan.
Be sure to check what the rest of the team did with the lifts... so much fun was had by all.

and after Lucy back to Just Imagine Crafts to leave a comment about the blog hop.

I am so excited to share my project today.

After the boxes are made it's open for any decorations you like. I wanted them fun and bright in colour. I did want a border on the sides so I used Kreaxions Punch #301. With the contrast in colour
the punched image pops through on the purple coffin box. on the sides of the orange n black coffin box I used the throw away piece on the sides.

Here are the instructions to make it:

First you go to Martha's site to pick up the 2 printable templates (Bottom and Lid), here are the two links:

http://images.marthastewart.com/images/content/web/pdfs/2008Q4/tvs_4018_101008_coffinbottom.pdf

http://images.marthastewart.com/images/content/web/pdfs/2008Q4/tvs_4018-101008_coffintop.pdf

They are «Print Ready» pdf documents, that means you don't need to muck around with printing dimensions and settings, they will print on a standard 8 1/2'' x 11'' paper. Normally you would print them on white paper and use them as templates over the patterned and/or coloured papers that you choose for your box... but... Go to the next step to see a much easier way of doing it!!

I would love for you to follow me and leave a comment
for a ballot to win a random draw for the Kreaxions Circle Cutter from ME.

Hop  on over now to

Hope you enjoy the blog hop and have a great weekend.

Authentique Paper's challenge to share your scrappy room

This is my very small space in Florida at the end of the kitchen. I do the
best I can in this small area.. over flow is in the extra spare bedroom.

This is the only photo of my scrappy space in Canada that I have with me and there has
been more additions since this photo.
Also must confess neither room looks this clean when in use.

Authentique paper has a challenge to share your scrappy space with them right now.
I saw a few amazing rooms on their site already... be sure to check them out.

Lots to share today... and BLOG HOP REMINDER

Welcome to Thursday at Just Imagine Crafts. I share weekly the use of Kreaxions Products.
This fun card was created using the #309 Punch with no inserts. .. and
the Kreaxions Circle Cutter.
I started by making a circle cut in the centre. I then marked 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock
with lines so I could punch easily from inside the circle.
I then cut the inside fall away circle to a smaller size and
using card stock cut a slightly larger circle to pop up the smaller
circle on.. added ink and doodled around it.
I matted the background with cardstock to pop the flowers and
used printed paper for the centre background. I ripped and inked the outer edge.
I used twine accent, sentiment and a twine bow and last but not least added a
contrasting coloured chevron border.

FRIENDLY REMINDER THAT THE BLOG HOP IS
FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY. AMAZING  INSPIRATION AND
GREAT PRIZES.

The scraps used for this card are for The Scraps of Darkness Kit -
Dreams of You from the Elegance side.
Also here are the pages I made with the kit.

I had a fabulous time creating using the kit. I also was amazing that I got 5 pages and 1 card done.
Fabulous value for the money... be sure to check  the site out.. thanks for stopping by today.
