Codgers Golden Glove

Hi.. multi tasking challenges today..
at the Birthday Bash at Cookin Up Creations this is my hosting challenge.
At CUC I am challenging you to celebrate by using banners..
BUT not just 1 banner ....My challenge is to use banner on banner.
I used a misted background banner then added a twine and washi tape banner on top of it.
While working w with challenge I also incorporated the Turtle Soup
Wednesday Use your Stash challenge with Joan....
she challenged us to use a cardstock background full sheet and then the rest is
to be created using left scraps of paper in your stash.
To this I added washi tape corner with some added brads. I added
some stitching on a rectangle scrap, added a stamped circle,
hand did part of the title.. and the other main title is mini alpa stickers.

Thanks for stopping by... and if your looking for some daily challenges be sure to check out

Madge's Scrappin Lounge Embellishment Kits

Using Scrappin Madges Embellishment Kits are amazing and fun too.
This month is:
hazel &ruby "gone TYPO" card pad to start the bases of the cards.
From there I added more from the kit using some matching accents, journal strips
and the cutest Arrows and Metal Badge Stickers.

Using all the above supplies I only added an inked stars stamp to the cute card and the sentiment stamp.

To this card I only added the fun inked stamped accents.

To this card I added inked stamped  background and sentiment and the cute buttons.

I thought it would be fun to make a layout also using pieces from the Card Embellishment Kit from
Scrappin Madges Lounge.
In the close ups I'll share some of the details.

I love adding the Sew Easy circular ink rolled accent and also the straight line inked stars.
The title is cut off one of the card papers. The clear plastic hearts are from the kit.
Also behind the hearts accent if you look closely I embossed and inked yet another piece
of paper from the kit.

In this section you see more dotted and chevron papers from the kit.

On this section I used lots of journal strips and accents from the kit.
It is amazing how even card pads can be used on regular layouts too.
I  used a sketch from a challe
nge at Cookin Up Creations
by Susan Stringfellow.

Thanks for popping in.. come back again soon.

Cookin Up Creations and our 4th Annual Mad about Sketches

Welcome to Focus Friday at Cookin Up Creations... and also to our celebrate of our 4th Annual MAD ABOUT SKETCHES in March. During the month of March, we will be working with skethces that have been provided to us by the very talented Susan Stringfellow. Also each of us received a small package of flair buttons to work with which are so generously donated by Julie at the Joyful Moose etsy store.

Using the sketch...  I would also like to focus on using a cluster in this challenge. My fun floral and wood accent are a perfect cluster for this page.

Many thanks to our sponsor.. below is my card of buttons and the vintage looking ones were a great addition to my old photo page of my mom and dad before they were married.

To complete this challenge, you may make ONE layout, TWO cards, FOUR artist trading cards, or ONE altered/paper project. Please post your completed project to the Cookin' Up Creations gallery and then link it to my challenge thread. For each completed challenge, you will earn one entry into the Dessert Tray drawing for March and you have until April 5 to complete this month's challenges. (Note: you may enter each challenge more than once, but EACH entry must have the required challenge elements and must be different from your other entry). Can't wait to see what you share... so join us this month for the sketchathon.

Below are some fun up close detailed photos:

The title is metal accents from Momenta.
