The Scrapping Bug and Carta Bella Beautiful Moments

Today I am sharing yet another page using Carta Bella Beautiful Moments collection. On the overall page I went for clustered sections, misting and stamping, inked edges and added some doodling and stitching.
Below are details shots for you to view my page

I misted the stamp with Mister Huey's colour mist and stamped the corner of the page. It was a little to square and difined so I random misted around it.
The title is glossy accented and I added some journal strip words which I outlined with pen.

On this section you can see the fun layers, clustered and stickled flowers, a felt accent, prima pearls, rubons and ribbon accent. All of this on top of beautiful piece of lace.
On the upper section I used some of the accent pieces and layered them, cut the sub title and added some stickles to sparkle and shine.

On this close up you see a double punched butterfly with stickles, a floral cluster with prima pearls and above it I placed a banner that I doodled on, added stickles to and placed the cute bird on.

Supply List:
Cardstock:
Paper: Carta Bella Beautiful Moments
Felt accent: Basically Bare
Accents: Carta Bella Beautiful Moments
Punches: Kreaxions, Martha Stewart
Stickles: Ranger
Ink: Memento
Pearls and Flowers: Prima
Stamp:
Spray Mist: Mister Huey's
Rubon: Kaiser Craft
Other: stitching, doodling, brads

And back again with yet another amazing page using Carta Bella Beautiful Moments. On this page I used a sketch by Brenshevia at Sketchers.
Below I have detailed shots to share with you.

In this section I used the kit letters to make the title and used Glossy Accents to pop and shine up the letters. Also outlined the letters with pen to highlight them. I cut up an accent and made the tags which I inked and outlined with pen. The biggest flower I made using paper (i call it medallion flower), it is like an accordian fold flower. I added 2 more layers of paper
on it and finished it off with Prima pearls.
The smaller green flowers on the page were misted with Mister Hueys mist. I added stickles
to the small flowers to make them shine and sparkle. In the background of the
cluster is a rubon by Kaiser Craft.

This section and cluster is flowers accented with Mister Huey's Mist on the green one and all stickles for glitter. The recycled dryer sheet flower was misted with Mister Huey's mist for 3 layers, stickled edges and a brad in the middle to hold it together. Prima pearls added to the cluster, a felt like heart from Basically bare and a stapled ribbon accent.

This last detailed shot shows the punched circular piece with stitching around it, an inked with memento border flag, and another stapled ribbon.

The over all page has more added stitching, inking and lots of fun clusters.

Sure hope your enjoying this fabulous Carta Bella paper line.
Thanks for stopping by... More to come soon...

Scrapping Bug Kit and Just Imagine / Krexions

I was so excited to play with my August Kit from The Scrapping Bug that I have started some pages. I have this one to share with you. I used some photos from last weekend when I finished up my Houston Crop with 2 days at the Niagara Falls Casino where the gardens and view were fabulous and colourful.
I used the Kreaxions Punch #922 which looks like a waterfall spray and it was perfect for the photos.
I also used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter to mat the 2 photos.

I have closeups for you to view some of the details.
I fussy cut the flowers and then stickled them to make them shine and sparkle. One of them I foam popped for depth.

On this section I clustered a rose bud which I stickled, added a bow and tag and added some prima pearls.

This title section used some fussy cuts to include the flourishes and bird which I added some Prima pearls to. I added a sticker from the collection for the title and another sticker to write on.. and then I added some brads. On part of the title I liquid embossed so it would pop and shine.

This last close up is of the banner that is in the paper. To pop it I first used black pen to highlight some spots under the words, and doodled the loops of the banner. The banner half circles I added liquid embossing to pop it and shine also.

Inked edges to pieces add detail, the punched background was picked for the water spout type punch, inked background mats for photos and stitching on part of the outer border were also added. Sure hope you love it as much as I did making it to share with you.

Supply List: Paper: Carta Bella line called Beautiful Memories Accents & Stickers: Carta Bella
Punch: Kreaxions Punch #922: Circle Cutter: Kreaxions; Stickles: Ranger Ink: Memento Pearls: Prima Ribbon: Liquid Embossing: All Night Media Other: Black Pen, brads, fussy cuts, stitching.

Momenta product and Just Imagine/Kreaxions Punches

DSCF5687
Hi everyone. I just returned from my fabulous MSW Houston Crop and a short stay at Niagara Falls Casino. It was a fabuluos fun mini vacation. Travel was a nightmare but everything else was perfect.

Today I am sharing a layout that I wanted to be fun, bright and playful and used Momenta Products. The punched edges were perfect and the 2 different punched both had hearts on them. Top edge is Kreaxions Punch #905 and the bottom is #917. With a boy and girl in the photo I thought it would be fun to add flowers using punch #603 and butterflies #604. All 4 punched worked together to accent my page. Some of the flowers and butterflies were doubled and popped with added stickles for sparkle.
I stenciled leaves to the floral cluster... added some stencil accent to the photo border... stitched on the corners and added stickers and sentiments instead of a big single title.

Supply list:
Cardstock: Momenta PA 2375
Paper: Momenta PA 1070
Stickers: Momenta #17417
Stencils: Momenta FS 1034, SS 1007
Just Imagine/Kreaxions Punches: # 603, #604, #905, #917
Stickles: Ranger
Ink: Memento
Pen: Staedtler
Other: Stitiching, brads

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday and Momenta

DSCF5364

Happy Thursday. I have been on a mission lately to use paint, masks, misting and any medium I can to alter the backgrounds of my pages. So.. why not use punched borders to make a mask. The lower edge is Kreaxions Punch #305 punched out of heavy cardstock and misted.

DSCF5365

Here is the close up to see and the same punch is used on the border under the photo.

DSCF5366

The Kreaxions Punch #604 the butterfly was cardstock punched and misted also.

DSCF5367

The upper corner accent is the fall away piece. It is amazing how what you once would have thrown away now works into your creations. So get out those punches and see what you can create through misting a mask you made yourself.
Supply List:
Paper: Momenta PA 2240
Alpha: Momenta PA 2394
Cardstock: white
Kreaxions Punches: #305, #604
Bling: Prima Pearls, Stickles
Glimmer Mist: Tattered Angels

Hope you enjoyed this today and see you again soon...

Let's Get Sketchy

Let's Get Sketchy shares sketches every Monday...today's is by Laura Whitaker below and it was used to create the page above.
The inner square shape I blocked out on a ripped shape, went to one photo only and the outer shape I did stitching.  I used some fun clustered elements and other accents and an old photo in black n white.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT revealed using this sketch.

My Sketch World

Using Lucy's amazing sketch from My Sketch World I made the page above. I had fun using up some matching chipboard, adding rubons, stitching and adding pearls. It was perfect.
