Welcome again to SVG Saturday using Scrapbook Stamp Society with Sherri Baldy's newest SVG cut files. Today I use both the single gears to create a cluster of very large gears for my background and also added the gears border of smaller gears. They are an amazing element for all our guy/masculine cards or layouts we create. I used Paper House's new Color Ways Sapphire Collection.. all the blues were a perfect mix with the cut files.

Robin's Nest Blog Hop with Smoothfoam

Robin's Nest joined together with the CHA designer in a blog hop. Each blogger will feature both Robin Nest product and Smooth Foam.

HERE is the blog you will start at
http://www.designercraftsconnection.blogspot.com/

WE will have a $50 prize package filled with both Robin Nest product and Smooth Foam products.
Above is my project which started with 2 foam disc (circles).

I used 6"x1" and also 8"x1" disc

I papered both on top, coloured the outer edges with copic markers but paint or ink will work too.

I added a circular ring and added diamond dew drops, cut another circle and used the rubon xmas snow kit and the snow flakes over the edge to trim it. I used the straw cord and stapled it to the upper ring so the edges hung over in loops of sparkle. I also used diamond dew drops to shape gem stone snowflake accents.
Around the outer base edge I tied ribbon and make the loop bow and know to hang it as a wall hanging at xmas.

Using Mod Podge extreme glitter I covered the  majority of the project. This is the photo of when it was wet ahd really murky looking

When it dried it has a shimmer all over everything... perfect for xmas glitter.

Here is another view of my fun sparkled xmas wall decor. Thanks for stopping by .. be sure to check out the Robin's Nest blog and the inlinz where all DT have an amazing and beautiful projects to share.

Paper House Summer Beach Blog Hop

Life's Better at the Beach... this will make a fabulous Paper House blog hop project.

Supplies:
Paper: Paper House Beaches for the World PP-0019
Stickers: Paper House Beach Collection SBC-0060, Paper House Endless Summer Snapshot Stickers STSS-0005, Paper House Cardstock Stickers STCX-0050
Accents: Paper House Sunshine Cork Stickers STCO-0002
Die Cuts: Paper House Serene Beach Die Cuts STDC-0004
Cardstock: misc
Paint: Adirondack
Ink: Tim Holtz Ranger
Twine: Bella Creationz Timeless Twine

Sometimes the best part of a themed paper can be best used by ripping it and inking the edges. Prep on the white background was to splatter and blotted ink for more colour.

I wanted a sun ray so using twine I wrapped pieces from the centre core to the outer edges before applying the beach themed paper on the bottom half.

Lots of dimension is added to the page with the fun snapshot beach stickers beside each other on the top left corner.

What a great cluster with Die cut Title, some sticker shells and the fabulous fun cork creature stickers.

With the photos and title clusters placed the lower edge needed attention... so using a border of sticker shells across the bottom it based the whole page.

Beach page came together with a hint of beach, water, and lots of shells with super fun family photos. (from Stacey and the girls visit with us in Florida)

Thanks for popping by. I enjoy sharing pages with you.

"Good Times" at The Rubber Buggy and Turtle Soup

Today my post for The Rubber Buggy uses my sketch from the Turtle Soup Birthday Bash. I love multitasking to create.
My "Good Times" page boasts some of my newest products from The Rubber Buggy. With these great prom photos I wanted something soft and elegant to base the photos. Accents also needed that vintage but elegant touch also. Flowers with leaves, a doily, some stamping and the addition of bling was a great finishing touch.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products: Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics
Blue Fern Studios Deja Vu Dangles and Layering Stems chipboard,
Other: StazOn, Tim Holtz Ranger Adirondack Ink

In the close ups you can view the details easier. This shows the great chippie accents with all the amazing detailed cuts. They are so easy to use. Leave plan, paint, mist, copic colour and even distress ink them. Also note the 2 layers of paper matting with inked edges... and the small paper clustered section on top of the chippie with added bling.

On this section just faintly in the background you can see the 2 tone ink stamped dangles. The top corner also has a paper and bling section to coordinate with the other section.

This section highlights more amazing chipping and a stamped title.

Thanks for visiting today.. be sure to visit every Monday as I get to share even more fabulous Rubber Buggy products.
