Hi ..... Turtle Soup is excited to share daily challenges with you.
Today I am here to share some tips with this tutorial on how to make this cool but easy card.
The card above was used as inspiration to make my card below.
It was from pinterest and the little bue house.

I loved the texture and the layers to this.. super fun.
my card below with some alterations.
Use 4 1/2 x 4 1/2" accent cardstock base.
Cut 4 1/2 x 4 1/2" blocks the same and use double sided paper -cut x2
I didn't twist or angle mine like the sample but you can.
Glue the accent cardstock onto card base centering it. Fold the other 2 pieces into quarters and slice almost all the way to centre (1/2" out from centre core) on the curled piece and almost to centre on the folded piece.
On one roll a pencil at the corners to roll the edges.
On the other fold flat to meet in the centre.
Glue the rolled one down first putting glue only through the centre section of the 4 wings.
Now glue the folded down piece inside the rolled ones.
Add button, brad or gemstone centre or any accent you have.
Close up below shows side view of the depth of the layers.

rewrote some instructions if this makes it easier:
as per my photo as to colour
black base 5x5
red cardstock base 4.5 x 4.5
two same double sided print 4.5 x 4.5
1st roll pencil edges (black n white print)
2nd fold into each other ( red, whit and blue colour) and place inside the rolled pencil one.
is that easier?
and above is an add on with additional layers and one layer twisted as per colours
Pink base 5x5
pink print base 4.75 x 4.75
turquoise cardstock 4.5 x 4.5
twisted turquoise print 3.5 x 3.5
two same double sided prints 4.5 x 4.5
1st roll pencil edges (turquoise with floral print)
2nd fold into each other ( multi stripe print) and place inside the rolled pencil one.
is that easier?
and on this one I added a tag using twine and an SRM Sticker sentiment.
