The Scrapping Bug
My Official start at The Scrapping Bug is July but we were allowed to jump in the month of June because we are celebating “ School is Out”... What a great theme
because that means so many options to play with.
Well I visited the store and while there some Take and Make Kits jumped at me and inspired the challenges.
First up is Sun Kissed
My Challenge since school is out is to remember Summer is HOT HOT HOT. Create a page that shows HOT HOT HOT either in colour, with the photos or surprise us!
I chose this kit for HOT HOT HOT red and the bold bright fun Yellow... and the my theme is a day at the beach with family. Everyone had a great time. I changed this page up a bit with The Robins Nest dew drops, some doodling, some stitching, added inked edges and some brads. I think it looks amazing and love double page layout with lots of photos.
I chose this kit for the fun bright Yellow and general water beach theme but changed the title to “at the Lake” with family. Everyone had a great time. I changed this page up a bit by moving the photos and only matting a few instead of all of them. I inked the edges, stitched a bit, make a cute flag, added doodled ric rac, a hand cut fish, added The Robin's Nest dew drops and a metal charm. I think it looks amazing and love double page layout with lots of photos.
This is just the start of a fun term at The Scrapping Bug. Sure hope you 'll visit and play along with us every month.. looking forward to sharing so many things with you.

Now lets work with Beach Babe
My Challenge since school is out is to remember Summer is for fun in the sun,
vacations, cottage or beach time, lunch in the park.. so many summer themes to
choose from. Create a page that shows a theme for summer and the twist is to use
at least 2 photos and the colour Yellow somewhere on it.

Many Projects from June. Such a busy Month.
I have been so busy that I haven't kept up my blog post and I love to share all my projects because they all have photos that tell a story. Family come here when they have time to see what I have been doing with photos of their lives.
It would have been fun to put them in a slide show but that would have taken time so just adding them below for your viewing. Some OR most of them are part of my challenges from the month of June and will add the info when I get time.
Terrifically Thrilling Thursday at Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions Punches
Hi so how is everyone today. Good I hope
and welcome to Just Imagine Crafts post this week.
So no biggy today .. nothing to jump up and down about...
but it came to my attention when I was
making this ATC that they are perfect for using punches
of any kind on regardless of their size. For those of
you that have never made one
they are baseball card size which is 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".
Adding a punched border with the
matting underneath made it pops beautifully.
ATC's however small
still can accommodate a punched edge.
I used Kreaxions Punch #302 with no inserts.
So keep those punches handy regardless of
what ever project your working on.
Take care and until next time...

And on Mondays I love sharing with Scrap Scene WIP Mondays.

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday and The Scrapping Bug
Hi and how are you today? I made a card today using the Kreaxions Punch #309 with insert A to punch the circle edge and centered it into a Kreaxions cut circle. I used the same punch for the border accent without insert and the fall away pieces I glued to the circle for accents. I doodled with a signo white gel pen and made the popped up stamped Thank You sentiment. Using October Afternoon Dictation paper and Cardstock made for a bright fun card. The stamp is American Crafts using Memento ink. These supplies are part of The Scrapping Bug July Kit.
This is my 1st DT reveal with them.

The Paper Girls Challenge Blog
The Paper Girls Challenge Blog this week... to do something using the trend of Subway art in Home decor products and craft projects in our scrapping. So here is my sample page to share. Some paper with lots of words and a hand printed section used in the background but themed to the photos.. Soccer.
Just Imagine Crafts / Kreaxions using MME and Scrapdango sketch
These fabulous old family photos on this page is done using My Mind's Eye paper and a Scrapdango Sketch Inspiration sketch for challenge #2. It celebrates my Dad and his Parents (my grandparents). Gramma passed away before I was born but she knew I was on the way and I vaguely remember Grandpa.
I used some doodling, stamping in the background and some punched black accent pieces.
The top border is Kreaxions Punch #304 and the bottom layer is the fall away piece. Inked edges makes it pop on the page. I put the 2 strips together and then added the dotted accent piece through the centre.
The small butterflies are Kreaxions Punch #604. I added some white gel pen doodling to accents the wings and black pen for the flight trail.
The homemade flowers are the medallion flower and layered punched flowers. The smallest petals is Kreaxions flower Punch #603. The cluster is accented with Prima pearls, MME brads and a stick pin.

Cookin' Up Creations Birthday Bash Challenge
Using the sketch below I created a page for Cookin' Up Creations Challenge to "Bring in the Clowns" to celebrate #3 Birthday Bash. The twist is to use circles, polka dots, circle photo and some red embellishments. I used red twine, brads, some red circles and some of the banner pieces are red. This is a fun Halloween page with the kids dressed as clowns. It is too cute and was perfect for this challenge. The sketch is designed by myself to match my layout. Maybe a backward process but fun anyway.
I used fun, bright Momenta papers, some stamping, lots of brads, twine, banner and some doodling to accent my page.

Let's Get Sketchy
Hi today is sketchy Monday at Let's Get Sketchy. The sketches are amazing, the DT inspires everyone with their samples and we always are amazed by what the members playing along share with us every week. Today's sketch was fabulous to work with.
I was at a Cancer fund raising crop Saturday (Crop for the Cure) where the food, friends and everything was wonderful. I took advantage of the time and worked on my June sketches for Let's Get Sketchy. Would love for you to join in and share your project with us.
