My Scraps and More March Product Reveal

As a Guest Designer this month at My Scraps and More I had the privilege of creating with Echo Park "Springtime" collection. I chose to make a double page layout with the big machines. The machines which are yellow and green were perfect with the yellow background papers. I had fun cutting up the accent strips for borders, banners and tags. The papers had enough green in them to use as accents throughout the page.

I got out some gears in chipboard that I copic coloured and some metal ones too, corrugated cardboard accents and twine accents. The titles were cut with my cricut and the lyrical letters cartridge. In the one border I added Momenta truck stickers ST 2526 and dots.

For my 3rd layout "Cute" I wanted the fun soft pastels for the too cute photos. All the fun pieces were cut from the papers supplied, some scalloped, some matted to pop, circles, punched butterflies, and tag strips to journal on. I added a puffed title, added stickles to sparkle and made the banner with twine header with stickled dots. The one photo is circular using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter and matted and scallop scissor cut. The other photo is framed and matted.
This package of Echo Park Springtime collection was a perfect blend for heavy duty machines and cute photos.. very versatile.

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday at
Just Imagine Crafts is one of my favourite days
to share a project made using my favourite Kreaxions Products.

Today it is just a card but I needed the Kreaxions Punch #913
and the fall away piece because today I share again
how to make the easel card and the base
needs the punched fussy edge to hold the card up and standing.

All the Kreaxions fussy punched edges are perfect for this.

Close up of the layers of punched borders used to stand the main front of the card up.
The throw away piece is then used as an accent.
I then used Ranger enamel accents to trim the borders and the Signo white gel pen.

Below is the Video Tutorial on how to make the Easel Card.

From the side you can see the stand up section of the card.

While making this card I completed a My Sketch World March Card Challenge to use a bingo card.. which I made myself using a black Staedtler pen.

I used one of my newest digital images from Scrapbook Stamp Society / Addicted to Stamps.
The image is Girl with Kite by Heather Valentin... she is just too cute.

I used my Momenta Products on this card.

Supply List:
Paper: Momenta PA 2354, PA0658, PA2333
Markers: Copic
Pens: Signo white gel, black Staedtler
Punch: Kreaxions #913

Scrapbook Challenges, Momenta Product, Scrap Scene WIP Monday

Sketch #286 for Scrapbook Challenges (below) was used to make the layout above called " Beautiful together". When the paper is so busy you need to get the photos to pop. These photos were a soft colouring and matted with bold dark purple .. all this did get them to pop perfectly.
I made the banner and linked it with twine and at the bottom I stitched some twine stars into the cluster and title section. Just a touch of bling was added. I have fun with the Momenta Stencil in the tag on the top adding the swirl and in the cluster tracing in the flowers. A dotted doodle line was also added around the very busy background paper.

Supply List:
Paper: Momenta PA 0658, PA 2448,
Die Cuts: PA 2394
Accents: ST 4909, PK 2407
Stencil: SS1007
Ink: colorbox
Pen: Staedtler
Other: twine, scalloped scissors, Kreaxions Circle Cutter

I am sharing this piece with Scrap Scene WIP Monday.

Also I would like to share with you the Layout "LOVE" above using the Scrapbook Challenges Sketch #285 (below). I used the Kreaxions Punch #311 to punch a border and then split it to put below the photo to accent each one. The flowers were layered with prima and also a Kreaxions #603 flower finished off with a brad centre. This collection had amazing die cut accents, matching rubons and fun co-coordinating papers

Cookin' Up Creations, Momenta Product, Unique Crafters Challenge

Cookin' Up Creations is having fun this month with the game of "CLUE".
So much fun, mystery and creativity because so many options of who, how and where?
Be sure to join in the fun....

Welcome to Mr. Boddy's House .. his directions for today challenge are easy.
His guests are many....
Col. Mustard (mustard/yellow), Prof. Plum (purple), Mr. Green (green), Mrs. White (white), Miss Scarlett (Red), Mrs. Peacock (blue).. BUT
you must use at least 4 colours of the above ..your choice.
Enter the rooms through 1 of the 4 doors to gather clues ( use journal strips)
It is suggested that the weapon could have been a rope so use rope or twine on your page.
It is still unknown which room but my guess is the library. (use the sketch)
So have fun with the clues above and create your page.

Here is mine below....
I chose white, green, purple and mustard and used twine and added journal strips.
It was fun to use matted photos, circles, frames and tags.
I even popped up a few of the sticker accents.
Also Momenta has an amazing Halloween package that contained
just the perfect colour combo I was looking for so that is what I started with.
Supply list:
Paper: Momenta PK 2268
Accents: Momenta PA 2394
Stickles and Enamal Accents: Ranger
Pens: Signo, Staedtler
Other: twine, brads

Unique Crafters Challenge Blog is a new site to share your work . I am attaching this piece to their blog and look forward to playing along monthly. This month to start it off is anything goes.

Borders, Punches and Banners

Hi everyone, I am multi tasking today.... so many fun things on this page.
Over at My Scraps and More the Let's Lift It month is going on and this challenge is a lift from Tracy .. but her twist is to use RED.
Then all the challenges at My Sketch World are focused on the members work from the gallery and this specific challenge is to use lots of punches (4). Well this all put together was easy.. because I love my Kreaxions Punches from Just Imagine Crafts.

In the close ups you can see that I used the full punch Kreaxions #311 and matted it to show the amazing punch. Above that I used #804 that is a clustered floral and above that is the fall away piece from the top banner punches. All layered in rows gives an amazing effect.

On this close up I used the Kreaxions #907, put slits into it to form a banner across the top.
Also I used #913 with insert A to punch the corners and peaks of the background shape and matted them so they too would pop. When you work with prints you often have to matte things so they show up better.
As you can see all these fun challenges put together turned into an amazing layout. So glad you could stop by today.. and hope to see you again soon.
