 I used rectangles and circles and my sketch below.

The paper is My Big Ideas collection.

Some fun close ups to show details.. Title, corner, button cluster with twine and 

gesso splatter and doodling with border accents.

Colorful Creations and Tuesday Sketches went up this week.

I used some great papers from Authentique Collection.

I used my sketch from below.

I love using coloured sketches even if they are displayed in black n white on the actual site.

 hope you like them as much as I do?

In the close ups you can see some of the fun details and accents.

Lots of easy but cute small clusters to finish off a page.

Brads can add to any page.. and additional tab accents fit under other papers or
corners of photos too.

Colorful Creations + Twist

Colorful Creations is sharing my sketch today with a twist "Paint". The cute page above is my sample using Momenta Product.  I popped up lots of sticker accents, added some doodled lines and stitches and the base was started with 3 colours of paint splatter.

I love doodling with sketches and for those that know me.. I love the coloured sketches.

I think  that the seasoned scrapper will ignore the colours and step out of their box to make and create whatever they want.. BUT the beginner who is intimated by sketches might not only grab the sketch but maybe be influenced to by the colouring and maybe even the accents... and this is all good in the learning process. A sketch is anything you want and need it to be.. so have fun and create.

Colorful Creation with a TWIST

This "Sweet" page used Pink Paisley - Blue Indigo.

I misted and masked the background before I started.

The twists for this challenge are misting and buttons.. won't that be fun.

This close up shows part of the the thing Circular ring, the many layers,

SRM sticker stitches and some fun buttons.

On this close up it shows the thin circular matted ring.

At Colorful Creations today they are challenged to use my sketch and the the twist is to use chipboard and brads. Would love for you to join and play along so I can see what you make using the sketch.
Below is my sample page. Fun photos of the grand kids before Jules came along. Loved when they all spend sleepover fun night with us. .. it puts a smile on our faces.

 

Fun bright colours, banner, lots of chipboard and mixed colour of brads.

A touch of doodling and wha-la.. it's done.

Colorful Creations - Sketch with a Twist

Colorful Creations - Sketch with a Twist  is using my sketch this week.. would love for you to stop by and play along. It would be great fun to see what you create with it.

The TWIST is to use metal and stickles on your creation.

In this close up I clustered a tab, bow, buttons with twine and fussy cut and popped a flower. In the corner I put washi tape strips.

 This corner is fussy cut flowers that I accented with stickles, prima pearls and stones adn added a metal key. These were my 2 TWIST accents.

This shows the fussy cut flowers popped on top of the papers and the fun title with mixed alpha.

Scrapping Bug Dec DT Reveal #2 and Colorful Creations sketch

 Fabulous fun using Little Yellow Bicycle from 

Scrapping Bug for my December DT reveal page #2.

On this page I started with a paint splatter, lots of fun layers of paper,

matted the photo, added lots of fun accents and added some stitching, stickers and title.

 Close up view shows some circles, a smaller upper border with

 Kreaxions Punched  border #920, some stickers popped up and some rubon lines.

This view shows the stitching, stickers and fun use of washi tape.

Red Carpet Studio

One of our favourite places to spend time in the summer..

 at the cottage, on the lake, swimming,

fishing, water skiing and relaxing.. with family and friends.

I used the sketch below from a Colorful Creation Sketch Challenge using one of my sketches.

Colorful Creations.. Twisted Blueprints

Using Brenshevia's sketch today at Colorful Creations but I didn't follow the Twists.. it was inspiration for Nana's fun 75th surprise Birthday party.
She always loved a party, music, family and friends.. these things all made her the happiest.
Behind the 75th letters is a pouch which I inserted the invitation for the party. I sewed the pouch on.
I splattered paint, made the chevron border, added circles, banners, ribbon, brads, chipboard #'s and some fun sticker accents.
I also played along with other challenges with this one. MSW and Cookin' Up Creations both wanted to see hidden journaling.
The papers are My Minds Eye and the colouring is perfect with these photos.

Colorful Creations wtih Twisted Blueprints #16

Colorful Creations with Twisted Blueprints #16 has a sketch with twist challenge and today is

my sketch and layout reveal so I am excited to share with you. Check it out.

The sketch was used to make this page and the twist to this page is to use either misting or stamping and a shaped accent of some kind. I inked with the stencil on the lower left corner.

My shape is the large chipboard star.

I also used doodling with stigno white gel pen, punches border, added some fun foamletters for title and journaled on the ripped and matted piece.

 

Colorful Creations and Twisted Blueprints #11 with ME

Colorful Creations and Twisted Blueprints #11 (with ME). I am so excited to have my first Twisted Blueprint sketch with a twist to share with you. The twist is to add a tag of some type .. your choice. My page has 2 photos instead of 3 but I misted and accented the corner.
I added some fun stitching to the background, grouped a cluster of elements in 3 spots and added buttons and twine. You have a week to play along and post your finished creation with us... hope to see your project too.
