SRM DT Call and my sample cards

SRM Stickers are amazing and since my first order I
have been using them non stop.  Their line covers so many themes and work on almost every project.

SRM is having a DT Call and I would love to make their team.
What an amazing line of Products and I fell in love with them
at first touch. Can't get enough of them. I also love that it can be used
on almost all my projects in one way or another.
Today I am only sharing a few of my most recent cards... but if you check the
SRM link you can view my many other projects that boast about the SRM products.

My Scraps and More Spring into Summer Crop

My Scraps and More is celebrating Spring into Summer with a Crop.
I made 2 cards for the challenges.. one for Spring and one for Summer.
This one (above)  is to represent springtime in the gardens and flowers.

I made a slightly different but easy base to share on this one.
Start with a 4" x 12" card base.
Score at the 4" and 8" mark.
On the front panel cut the diagonal line from one corner to the opposite corner.
Now how easy is that.
Decorate as you like except now make the floral accents.

Supply List:
2 - 4  floral stems
Lace or ribbon.. a good length for wrapping

On the left side of the above photo is my chosen cluster and I twisted the
wires to hold the flowers in place. Also you cut the wire to desired length.

In the above photo you can see I tied a know near the top under the flowers
and left enough ribbon length to be able to tie a bow.
You take the long end then and wind it around and around down to the bottom of the wire.
You then start back up the stem the same way to the top again.

At the top you then tie a small but too cute bow to finish off your cluster of flowers.
It is ready to mount on any project.

**************************************

For the summer my card was created with over the rainbow in mind.....
and my challenge is to use the fun bold bright colours of the rainbow to create with.

I used layers of Kreaxions Punch #920 with and without insert.
I made a circular SRM sentiment and added a circular ring.
Under it I added some SMR border sticker.
Also I added scalloped SRM sticker left over pieces.. they are thin but
are a perfect touch to any border element.

My Scraps and More Sunday Card Challenge

My Scraps and More Sunday Card Challenge for today used the
fun and colourful My Minds Eye - the sweetest thing collection.
I started with a kraft cardstock to make my base.
As you know this month I have been sharing some easy designs
to make cards so you can learn to change it up when creating.
The kraft base is 10"w x 7"h.
Fold or score down the 7" sides at the 2 1/2 " mark on either side to form
the flaps on the front of card to meet at the centre. That leaves  a 5" x 7" back base.
You then cut a front panel which is about 31/2" x 5" and you only glue 1/2 of it to the front of the left side.

You can decorate it anyway you like.. but if your interested in doing the matting in layers ..
just be sure to cut each layer just slightly smaller than the previous piece.
To accent my card I added some twine, popped up the sentiment and added
the brad and chipboard accent.
The twist to my challenge is to make this card or your own choice
of card and add some layers like above or any kind of layers and add a brad.
We would love to see you join us and play along.

SWAT #6

SWAT #6 challenge is to create a double page layout using the sketch supplied.
These fabulous photos are from the McKee Botanical Gardens which I
visited when friends that came for Canada for a visit.

I had to adjust some things but love the finished pages
which are joined through the centre with print paper,
circles on either side, some SRM stickers through the centre section,
a border from left to right and some brads on both sides.

Below I also highlight a clustered section with what started
out as a rub on that didn't pop enough so
i added stickles to give it depth and demention.

The DT has a reveal with this sketch and I would love if you pop on
over and be inspired and then join us at
SWAT #6 and play along.. thanks

My Scraps and More

Everyone once in awhile you need the push to use some collection in your stash and use it up... Well My Scraps and More put the challenge out there and OMG amazing things being shared in the gallery and forum.
Hope you'll take the time to stop by and see what everyone is creating. My collection I chose is Glitz - Detour and it's been amazing for the photos. The page above is my Project 12 for the month of March highlighting the girls removal of braces and the new hair cut and the wild fire evacuation in Florida.. (our first ever evacuation of any kind).. really scary.

Here is fun with skype photos.. the Grand Daughter with and without braces.

This is page 2 of the double when I got the actual photo of the day her braces were removed.

This paper also is amazing for sports pages.. and this double hockey page looks great in this colouring.
It's rustic and still pops with the added matting and accents.
I totally enjoyed this challenge... join us and share what you find in your stash.
