Terrifically Thrilling Thursday

Hello everyone. I am excited today to share a CHALLENGE with you.

Join us in any of the April Challenges by the DT to get ballots ( only one per challenge)

for the random draw.

My challenge is to make a MONOCHROMATIC PROJECT and a PUNCH.

AND use any punch on it = 1 ballot

OR use a Kreaxions Punch on it = a 2nd ballot

You have a whole month to play along .. that's all of April to blog link to this

(or any other Challenge by the DT for the month of April)

The prize will be either a Kreaxions Circle Cutter or Kreaxions Punch.

Here is my sample:

I used Kreaxions Punches

#306+A insert, #913 + A insert, #603 floral, #604 small Butterfly, #904 +A insert,

Big Butterfly Die, and I used all the pop out pieces from #306.

Here are some closeups to show some of the details.

I used stickles on the small butterfly wings.

On the big butterfly I daubbed with pearl paint

and added gem stones.

On the little flowers I cut 2 for each flower.

The base was a darker shade of pink and the top

was the lighter shade daubbed with pearl paint

and centred with a brad.

Where you see the border #306 I saved the popped out

pieces and individually glued them across the bottom for a border.

Join us and play along.. Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions has the link to post your project.

My Sketch World March 1st Sketch

Lucy's amazing sketches at My Sketch World are a great inspiration.
She has been sharing some double page layouts .. my favourites as you know
if you follow my blog.

I had a chance to have my Florida scrappy friends come and visit for the
weekend. We had an amazing time. I took them to the newest store A Scrapstore and More in Port St. Lucie where we scrapped 10:00am until midnight and went back again the 2nd day.

Our fabulous host was Paula. She has a great store and amazing products.
She had the Sizzix Pro cutter and the big dies .. that is what I used on the double
pages above as the background scallop. It looks amazing in black with all the
bold bright fun colours.
Can't you tell we had a great time.

My Sketch World and We Scrap Challenge

Christa's challenge at My Sketch World was
to recycle on the layout. I used the packaging for
Prima to make the tag.

At We Scrap the Challenge was to use the sketch below by Sue.
With multi tasking I have the perfect layout.

My Sketch World and Paper Variety Challenges

At My Sketch World the Challenge by Helene (NICK)

was to use an image on the layout.

At Paper Variety the Challenge is tic tac toe

and I used image, spring colours and layout.

Crafters Digital Art Centre... and my challenge

CDAC Crafters Digital Art Centre. (cdaccc20)
with

BeeCeeArtistic Digital Images

is hosting the Colour Challenge with a great inspirational photo and posting a

free digital for you to use.

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday

Hi .. hope your having a great day. Today is a card on Terrifically Thrilling Thursday
at Just Imagine Crafts with Kreaxions Punches.
I have been using lots of monochromatic colouring lately. It is so rich and elegant.
On this card I used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter for the cut out centre window.
I then punched flowers using Kreaxions Punch #601 spacing them like the clock... at 12, 3, 6, and 9.. then spacing evenly between.. far too easy.
The popped out pieces I inked and placed in the 4 corners.
Inside the card I added the layered copic coloured floral accent with gem stone.... then added some more gem stones on the side panels.
Hope to see you again next week...hugs Bev

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday

HI, hoping your having a Terrifically Thrilling Thursday. I know I am excited to share with you this week. I have been playing around with punch #603 small flower. Why just use it alone when you can expand on it. So here is what I came up with.

Why not make clusters of layered flowers to form a medium size flower. I used a background disc to mount the double layered two coloured flowers punched with #603. I even glimmer misted one to see what it looked like.

So after experimenting I made a Easter basket and finished it off with a cluster of flowers on the handle.

The base for the basket started with the Kreaxions star and was punched with #913 and insert "C". It makes a doily looking base to hold the basket frame.

Starting with a 6" long strip about 5" wide I border punched with Kreaxions #904.

Then I scored the other side about 3/8 ". You then slit it from the edge to the score line so you can roll the piece into a cylinder and glue it together. To secure it better I made 2 - 1 3/4" circles with the circle cutter to glue to the bottom of the cylinder and inside the cylinder.

I then cut a strip for a handle. I secured it to the basket with brads on the sides. On one side I added the floral cluster I made and on the other side I added a tag using a ribbon and tied it on.
Here is my finished project from a different angle. It's all ready for that easter creme egg for the grandkids.... now I just need to make 3 more just the same only different colours.

Sure had fun sharing with you today.. hope to see you again next week.....hugs Bev

Scrap Passions Challenge International

Scrap Passions Challenge International

March Challenge is to use monochromatic and multiple photos.

I love all the little ones of the grandkids. Fabulous memories of when

they were young. They grow up so fast.

My Sketch World March 15 Sketches

My Sketch World for March 15th is an amazing
double page sketch layout. .. and you know this is
my favourite kind to do.
It was perfect for these great hockey photos.

Here is the double put together. Hope you like it.
Be sure to check what the other DT make with it to.
I used this great sports layout for my challenge at
We Scrap by Fleur for March Madness......
the site is in process of upgrade so be sure to check it out early April.

Scrap Tiffany

March 15th with Scrap Tiffany
where the challenge is a WORD
"BEAUTY"
Above is my card using Beautiful flowers..
both in a digi and in a Just Imagine/Kreaxions Punch #601
I misted behind the digi to soften the background.
Behind the punch is a darker shade to pop the floral punch.
Brads in the 4 corners and you have

"BEAUTY"
IN A CARD

Here is a 2nd card I shared because I love it.
Stamped and embossing powder made for a beautiful
background. The Sentiment was stamped.
I made the medallion flower and added the clear centrepiece, mounted
it over the added ribbon accent. This is very simple but
elegant I felt suited the Word "Beauty".
