Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions and Momenta
Good morning to all.
Today I would like to share this layout that I used the Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions Punch # 603. Although it is a small flower punch I wanted to try it as a border punch with a matted background to pop it. The punched out pieces I then used as a base to the popped up Sticker flowers. In the punched border I used stickles in the centre and doodled with a Stigno white gel pen. The paper and stickers is Momenta.
This fun page is inspired by The Scrapping Bug One Hour Crop using Scarpbook generations sketch,
These amazing punches are so versitile.. just step out of your box and have fun playing with them. You will be surprized the many things you come up with using them on layouts, cards, altered items.. have fun and create and until next time.. have a great day... Bev DT

Cookin' Up Creations Challenge using Momenta
Hi good day everyone.. Welcome to Cookin' Up Creations which is celebrating the
Month of May with "Pass the Remote".
Today I share with you a sports page inspired by the movie " She's the Man" from 2006 staring Amanda Bynes as Viola who disguised herself as her brother to attend an elite boarding school to play soccer. She rooms with Tatum Channing as Duke and the mishaps of being a girl amoungst the guys playing soccer is a fun and light movie.
On my page I used a fun technique to make your own backgrounds.(idea and lift from Sarah Webb)
There are times when you just don't have a themed paper that suits the photos.. so make your own.
I used stamps to make the background.. repeated the central one many times.. added the banner and swirls for a change up.Only thing to remember is the central section is where you want to place your photos.
So using the background I now placed the photos, added some Momenta paper and accents and it's all done.
Supply List:
Paper: Momenta PK 2389
Stickers: ST 2234, ST 5424
Ink: Memento
Stamps: Glitz, Dear Lizzy and American Crafts
Punches: Martha Stewart, McGill Craftivity
Other: brads
****** updated.. here is page 2 of the double using the same technique and Momenta *****

Nana and the Great Grand Kids
OMG what an amazing response to the blog hop.
Thanks everyone... my winner was Wustaz... congrats.
So today is a simple layout but the photo needed some grounding..
the punched border was perfect for this. I used Kreaxions Punch #905
which is matted with white to pop it.
Something so little but it makes the page.
Be sure to used those punches you have. Leave them out on your
work table as a reminder that they have
so many possibilities.
Also today I am sharing this page as part of the Marvelous May Crop
being celebrated at the Scrapping Bug.
The challenge was to use white and one other colour...
I love the blue and white on this page.
Also Cookin' Up Creations BPS 5/19 sketch with a twist to use a
photo of a gramma was so perfect with this photo of
Nana and the Great grand kids on her birthday in July 2005.

Remember when....
Hi everyone... so today I am working with a photo that was old but also was cut and shaped
from being in an oval frame. Well using the Kreaxions oval templates I marked off
the closest I could get to the photo and still be able to border punch with Kreaxions #917.
I backed it with pink to pop the hearts and then used the oval template again to mark
off an outer oval larger than photo. This edge I then stitched mounting the photo to
the other layers I had already done.
This photo looked like it was hanging in limbo and needed a border to give
it a base.. so what better than a Kreaxions cut border matted and edged to match
the colours in the photo matting.
I use fun soft colours from the Momenta papers and accents that match.
I added a metal key tied off with twine, popped some stickers for depth, doodled
the stems of the flowers added some buttons.

The photo was taken at my nieces bridal shower.
We don't have enough photos of the two of us so lately
I have been making a point to have other family take more of
these types of photos of us.

a Scrapping Bug Challenge to scrap about moms and flowers
and I chose this soft colouring paper from Momenta.
It was perfect with the photo.
I used Kreaxions Punch #917 matted for the border,
embossed the dot piece for texture, a touch of doodling, stitched around the photo
and an accent corner. I then added a metal key with the small journaling tag and
added some fun sticker flowers and buttons.

the glasses are not for real but he is sharing a new look with us. He is the only boy
