OMG Robin's Nest and Gina's Design mixed is amazing

Hi ..  OMG I so enjoyed mixing Robin's Nest Wild about You collection and Gina's Designs. What a perfect fit.. especially with the photos I was working on. I loved the red white combo with the pop of black in the accents... and the scraps made for some fab cards I will share today.
In the close ups you can see much better.... I inked the embellishments and then added dew drops. Family Alpha was mounted on black glitter paper.

LOVE was inked and mounted to the Robin's Nest Black n Red Journaling Card

This inked butterfly by Gina's Design was mounted on one of her doilys and accented with dew drops.

This page started with the Black n White animal collection and the My Scraps and More Blog Sketch #62.
The Wild about You collection is the upper layers.

Your Beautiful in every Way sentiment card was used for part of the title, Inked Butterfly by Gina's Design, diamond shapes dew drops for flight path and some fun twine accent.

Fun layers, a scalloped layered border and small pennants.. all giving dimension to the page.

With lots of scraps left I made a few cards.
This one is black glitter base, Wild about You print scraps and I added Kreaxions punching
and also some stickers from the Hot lips tag kit.

Also added some white dew drop accents.

This card boasted some fun pennants on it.. all cut from scraps.

The pennants have some Kreaxions punch accents and also dew drops.

Finished it off with a sentiment and a Gina's Design butterfly accent.

1st day of School

Today I played with My Scraps and More challenge to use those school photos..
and used the Blog Sketch #65  below.

I found photos in my stash I brought with me.. but no school paper.. so had to improvise using the Kraft #'s and rulers and adding the rest in accents.
Cricut cut title and fun doodling.

Loving all the fun layered clusters of today.. used one in the upper left corner. Notice the  doodling around
the outer edges of the ruler paper.

This close up highlights the black board effect and the #'s and alphabet.
Thanks for stopping by.. check out the My Scraps and More forum and Sketch blog... lots
of inspiration there to motivate you.

Fabulous Fun Scrappy Day

Fabulous Scrappy Day.
Using the My Scraps and More Sketch Blog Sketch # 63
below by Tammi Bennett I created the page above.
It also is Debbie P's January Challenge at the Turtle Soup.. to make you
own clustered accents and clustered borders. They really are fun to make
and are a great homemade accent to any page.
The outer ink roller stars is We Are Memory Keeper Sew Easy accessories..
using this one for the first time.

In this close up you see the upper corner clustered accents. Lots of fun layers of washi tape
to start... then added a scalloped border piece, some doodled stitching, glossy accents dots.
tags and the cute butterfly with twine trail.

Another border cluster.. uses the scalloped border and the layered pieces
are actual the piece at the bottom of some of the full 12x12 papers.
Added doodled stitching and the cute bird.

Super fun sticker title with black pen on outer edges.

Thanks for stopping by.. and if you like what you see be sure to check the forum and blogs where I play.
We would love for you to join us and play along.

acting so CRAZY multi tasking page

Multi Tasking today..
using the great sketch from Wendi Robinson below for the My Scraps and More Sketch Blog challenge,
the Turtle Soup use cardstock only challenge
and also the My Scraps and More challenge to use the word "Crazy" .
Above is my fun page... stamping, masking, doodling, punching, matting, embossing and lots of layers.
Then add some fun accents and my cute Crazy page is done.

Close up show the details better. Masking with gesso, punched and layered clustered border, Title cut using cricut plus some stickers, stamping, glossy accent doodled dots and doodled stitching too.
Also used some punchinella and Creative Embellishment gear accents... and the corner has washi tape trim.

Lots of stamping to accent plain cardstock, embossed cardstock, fun little tab and made the cute
twine circle accent to centre the large stamped dotted circles.
Multi tasking was great fun.. got lots of challenges done all in 1 LO page... and I love it.
Hope you do too?

Sympathy card that is close to my Heart.

DSCF6838
Today at Just Imagine I am sharing the card that is close to my heart. With the passing of our DIL's dad I was in need of a sympathy card. It is with sadness I make this card to honour the memory of a dear family member and let the them know how special he was to us and them.. and that memories are a treasure. They need to be special and still give the sense of love, support and tenderness. I chose this floral punch Kreaxions #309 to centre the card using soft earthtones. It was created by using Kreaxions Circle Cutter, marking the punch marks using the stencils and punching all around. I also punched the outer corner using the same punch and used the B insert. I knew I wanted the sentiment in the centre of the circle, found the flourish  and Thinking of You both which are SRM stickers. Matting them made them pop. With enough space still through the centre I used Kreaxions Punch #929 with A insert and matted it with a darker colour. Fall away pieces were added to the top and bottom of card around the brad accents. The base colour I choose was a Patterned navy blue to contrast the beige and brown in the other papers used.

The close up shows the details better.. lots of layers and depth. You can also see the circular bases and rings made using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter.
DSCF6840
Inside the card I printed some sympathy verses with inked edges to soften it....and matted it to a base with the top and bottom Kreaxions Punches with #920 and insert A.
It 's never an occasion we like to celebrate but a neccessary part of life...

Let's Get Sketchy

I am excited today.. it's one of my sketches at Let's Get Sketchy. I love to see what everyone creates using my sketches... and seeing all the different pages when all done.
I changed it up with one large photo but followed the basics of the sketch.
My dance album is coming together fabulously. Can't wait to give it to the mom and daughter.

Hope you'll play along too so I can see your creations using my sketch.

Fun Sunday Multi Tasking

I am super enjoying my Scrappy Sunday do a multi tasking project.
At the Turtle Soup the Mini Crop Challenge by Deb was to share a Holiday Celebration page....
while Stuck Sketches has a Laura Whitaker sketch ...
and my newest scrappy  purchases from Creative Embellishments are a perfect accent and title...
and my Robin's Nest dew drops were great to decorate the tree.
So.. with this all in mind I created the page above using the sketch below.

Thanks for the great sketch Laura.
Up close you can see the fabulous tree and Title Creative Embellishments which I painted in 2 colours,
then powder heat embossed to add sparkle .. then added some Robin's Nest Dew drop decorations.

On this section I used my new stars stamp from Creative Embellishments, used some
punchinella and the circles are done using my new circular piece that I added to my We are Memory  Keeper Sew Easy set.

This show a touch more of the circle and also a small layered clustered corner.
Thanks for stopping by .. I know I enjoyed my day so far.

Creative Embellishments January Challenge

Creative Embellishments is hosting a January Challenge.. to be inspired by the photo supplied.
I used shapes for inspiration and added some stars. I was so glad that my most recent purchase
of CE products contained a package of stars..
I also used a few more CE accents for this page.
View close ups to see the amazing accents.

What a great looking star and also used stickles on the CE title.

This section I used the pop out pieces of a CE photo frame to spell "I heart U"
replacing the heart with a colored sticker heart.

Another star clustered corner with other accents, glossy accent stars, dots and a popped up tree.

Creative Embellishments has an amazing mix of photo frames. This is just one that
I chose for this page. The word together I matted with red print paper to help it pop.

Other fun things on this page are: punchinella, punched border, brads, stickers, washi tape,
twine tied bow and metal piece.
Be sure to check out the huge range of accents available in the CE store.
