The Rubber Buggy project 'Remember the Moment' using Blue Fern Studios Garden Life

Today at The Rubber Buggy I am sharing 'Remember the Moment' using a photo of youngest Grand Daughter when they spent time at my house playing dress up. We always had so much fun when the kids come to visit us. They always put a smile on my face.

Supply List:
Paper: Blue Fern Studio Garden Life - Merriment
Chipboard: Blue Fern Studios Collage Border
Flowers: 49 and Market Rustic Collection
Marker: copics
Accents: Firefly ephemera collage kit
Other: variegated cardboard, cardstock, beads, sew easy ink roller

I started with copic colouring the border.

I used variegated cardboard to accent this page. I ripped it to mat the photo with some other regular cardstock mats to add colour. Then using the super small but cute image in the Garden Life collection I matted it too. I used accents from the Firefly ephemera collage kit.

In this close up you get a better view of more accents like the clear title used from the Firefly ephemera collage kit, super cute burlap and other flowers, along with the finished chipboard border.

In this photo you get to see the great layers and the added bead accent.

Thanks for stopping by today.... enjoy your weekend and be safe on the holiday.

June Fan of the Month for Blue Fern Studios using Spring Parade collection

Hi Blue Fern Studios fans. I am using the amazing SPRING PARADE Collection on these pages.
"love this"

Hi... Bev here today. As Fan of the Month at Blue Fern Studios I am thrilled to be able to create using layers of paper from the SPRING PARADE collection. I used many CHIPBOARDS that I copic coloured. I finished it off adding a 3D FLOWER in the print cluster of flowers and some bead accents.

This  project shares a photo of all four of my Grand Kids when we were together celebrating. My favourite times are when family spends time together and they actually let me take some family and group photos.

I slit and fussy cut around the blooms images in paper to insert the layers that base the photo.

Here is the finished photo detailing the inserted layers with added accents.

Close up shots of copic coloured chipboards.

"the story"

Up next is another page using layers again as the base from the SPRING PARADE collection. I used many CHIPBOARDS that I copic coloured and one piece I added special effects I'll be sharing with you. I finished it off adding a beautiful FLOWER/accent and some bead accents.

This project shares a family photo from our group gathering .... they graciously sit while I get some photos to save our memories.

For this chipboard piece I'd like to share my steps to finishing it. I copic coloured the base with green and brown copics. I then used a signo white gel pen to doodle the lines in the leaves.

This close up gives a great view of the treated chipboards and the amazing flower with berries.

I like to use fun layers when a collection has great papers... so this is perfect and I am using a May sketch from My Creative Sketches today.

With the basics of the sketch done .. then I start adding stickers, accents and fun trims.

Some close ups will give you a better view of the details.

And it will showcase the amazing frame used on this photo ... it is perfect.

I could have spelled out the title with all chunky alphabet set letters but thought the pop of colour using some inserted stickers was better.

More close up of details for your viewing.

Be sure to visit the store where these and many other chipboards and products are available... and so many themes are available too.

Thanks for stopping by... see you again soon,

'anything is possible' using Simple Stories Carpe Diem

Using lots of layers, shapes, stickers and accents was the base for this photo of ....yes....myself. As crafters and the main taker of photos we don't get enough memories and photos of us alone or in groups. I have been trying to hand my camera over more often and get more photos with me in them.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products:
Paper: Simple Stories Carpe Diem collection
Accents: Simple Stories Carpe Diem Sn@p Pack
Sequins: 28 Lilac Lane Sunflower Sky
Ink: Tim Holtz ranger Vintage Photo
Blending Tool: Ranger Ink Blending tool
Other: cardstock

I start most of my pages with a rough draft layout and take a photo for reference. I will change things up however as I go along.

Using a card section from the collection I hand cut it to make my title.

I start by gluing from the back to the front.

For this page I wanted lots of layers, lots of accents all from the collection. I then decided to use my newest purchase... the 28 Lilac Lane sequins which I scattered in areas of the page.

I inked the edges of some of the accents to give them dimension and depth.

My photo is still front and centre with all the trims and accents around it. This colouring in this collection is perfect with my photo.

Hope to see you again soon when I have another project sharing amazing products.

Little Leaf Friend Best Wishes Card at Robin's Nest

So for this card today at the Robin's Nest I am using a fabulous fun friends accent along with some amazing papers that work perfectly together. This super fun accent makes this card... so adorable.

Supply List:
Robin's Nest Products
Other: tutti die cut, Creative Embellishment chipboard butterfly, cardstock

To make this card I pulled the papers that best suited the colouring of the super cute Little Leaf Friend accent which is the main focus of my card. Isn't it just too cute. There are others you would love for some of your projects too.. so be sure to check them out in the store.

Next I added the stripes to the card. making sure the black line still showed.

Trim it with some chipboard accent and the small word sentiments die cuts and it's done.
This may be a simple and easy card but it's amazing combo makes it perfect.

Thanks for joining me today... and hope you have a great day too.
