Stick it Down So Sweet Layout

I have been playing along with Stick it Down today.  I am sharing a project using their sketch  and the paper is Authentique Sweetheart Collection. I used lots of Creative Embellishments products like the stamping, the flair button and lots of copic coloured chipboards. I then added some flowers and pen doodles some fake stitching.
This fun page is actually photos of when I was a baby. ... when photos were still black n white.

Thanks for joining me today.... hope to see you again soon.

Colorful Creations & Tuesday Sketches

Colorful Creations and Tuesday Sketches went up this week.
I used some great papers from Authentique Collection.
I used my sketch from below.

I love using coloured sketches even if they are displayed in black n white on the actual site.
hope you like them as much as I do?

In the close ups you can see some of the fun details and accents.

Lots of easy but cute small clusters to finish off a page.

Brads can add to any page.. and additional tab accents fit under other papers or
corners of photos too.

Cookin' Up Creations and Scraplift

Cookin' Up Creations celebrates every month with a member scraplift.
Below is the page I chose from jeaunes. I was attracted to the many fabulous
layers with angles.

I used Authentique, lots of inking, and great collection of accents.

I made the twine flower, fussy cut some flowers from paper, add a twined tag,
added some buttons and also some Robin's Nest dew drops.

Lately I use punchinella for an added and different accent.

SWAT Challenge #9

Hi everyone.. Today at SWAT we have the fabulous colour scheme from below to inspire us.
What a great combo of fun colours.
In my page above I wanted to accomplish 2 things..
use the large school photo and also thought it would
be fun to incorporate the boy copic coloured image as an accent.
The papers are Authentique.. what a great match to the inspiration photo.

I masked with gesso on the background to start. Matted the copic coloured image and
added some stickers accents - one with twine tie, arrow and journal strips along with
the fun chevrons shaped cut paper for a border.

In the upper section I added some paper cut corner piece, added some stickers,
and  used metal pieces joined with jute robe.
The title goes down the side of the matted photos and a small
cluster of accents to finish it off.
Be sure to stop by SWAT and see what the other DT have to inspire you with.

Sketches with Color.. and I am GDT for June

Hi .. I am super excited to be a GDT at Sketches with Color for  the month of June.
Not only do I get a sketch to play with but an amazing color theme.
I used Authentique Collection that seemed to best suit the colours below.

Also here is the fabulous sketch by Jenessa Franco.

I added some gesso to the background for texture, some cute clusters and
added a charm with twine bow.

Lots of fun paper strips, some fuzzy cutting to insert photo behind,  kit
journaling strips, fun twine rope with Robin's Nest Pearl Drop accents.
In the upper left corner I used washi tape accent.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back again on
June 15th for my 2nd GDT reveal.

My Scraps and More Card Sunday

Sunday Cards at My Scraps and More
are really fun to share with you. It makes me look around for
some fun ways to share easy to make cards with you.

This card is an Origami Shadow Box and OMG it's so easy.
Here is the link I used to see how to make it,

The only part I followed was the main section.

Use a 4x4" square and fold into 4 sections.
Fold into the centre on all sides.
Now bring the tip to the outer edge.
Press down firmly on all the folds.
I used SRM Stickers for accent, border  and sentiments.
I embossed the lighter coloured mat and added stitching.
I used stash from my Authentique collection.

This is another close up so you can see the folds.
Sure hope you'll stop by My Scraps and More and share your card with me too.

Amazing SPORTS page and Challenges

With 4 Grandkids playing sports I have to keep coming up with
new ideas, different paper lines to create more and more sports pages.
This Authentique Paper was a perfect pick for this page.
I used the Sketch from Memorable Seasons below,
and the My Scraps and More Challenge was to use only 2 colours.
With this collection I had some amazing combinations to play with.

In this close up it highlights some of the different paper options,
the cricut cut soccer ball and the fun big brads.

Here is a cricut cut image, a fussy cut accent from the paper collection
and the strips are from the paper line also.

The title is stickers.

Let's Get Sketchy and Kreaxions Punch

OMG can't believe how amazing this page turned out. I don't very often use huge 8x10" photos... but
Niagara Falls is so amazing to see that I printed it HUGE...  wanted the US and Canadain Falls in the photo... along with the Maid of the Mist. (Lisa and family were boarding the boat and we took photos)

So many fun little details even in so little space to work.
Tags, chevrons, popped and painted butterfly too.

More single cut chevrons, and this amazing Kreaxions Punched border with #310 matted sets the photo .
Below I added a few brads .

This is the fabulous sketch I used from Let's Get Sketchy December Week #3.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT did with it too.

Authentique Paper's challenge to share your scrappy room

This is my very small space in Florida at the end of the kitchen. I do the
best I can in this small area.. over flow is in the extra spare bedroom.

This is the only photo of my scrappy space in Canada that I have with me and there has
been more additions since this photo.
Also must confess neither room looks this clean when in use.

Authentique paper has a challenge to share your scrappy space with them right now.
I saw a few amazing rooms on their site already... be sure to check them out.
