Saturday Scrapbook project for One Crazy Stampers

Welcome OCS Fans;

Hi it's Bev here today ... for Saturday Scrapbook layout projects for One Crazy Stampers using High Hopes Stamps. If you have been visiting me on Saturdays you will see that I am only using stamped images as accents on pages. I try to theme them to photos which makes them a perfect accent. I am hoping I could inspire you to try using your stamps on layout pages too.

This page is my 2 eldest Grand Daughters along with a very close friend having snow fun together. The Labor of Love stamp was a great stamped accent for this winter themed Scrapbook page.

This page was also made during National Scrapbook Day while I was cropping with friends... so I used a sketch for this one.

This is Sketches in Thyme sketch for May 1st and it was a perfect fit for the photo and shaker accent.

To start my project I stamped the image  ....  Labor of Love. Lots of times I choose colours that match the photos I plan on using../ for this one I used paper colours and a pop of red.
It was coloured using copic markers and the highlights are signo white gel pen.

For a fun change up I am making this a scrapbook page accent... by making it a shaker.

The amazing chipboards from Creative Embellishments were copic coloured... all the layers on top and sides so when glued together it's all coloured. The kit supplied the clear plastic top so it's a complete shaker. this one was a perfect square size for the stamped image... and they come in lots of other shapes too.

Supplies used:
  • Stamp:: Labor of Love  S036
  • Copic Markers: 0. C0, C01, C03, C5, C8, B000, B00, B02, B06, B24, B26, B28, R24, R27, E00, E01, R20, E13, E15, E27, W5, W7, YG93, YG97, YG99, Y13, Y15
  • Other: Echo Park Paper Collection, Creative Embellishments Chipboards, signo white gel pen, cardstock, snowflake sparkle accents, machine stitching, die cut snowflakes

49 and Market Rusty Autumn layout

Hi... Bev here today at The Rubber Buggy.  I am sharing this page showcasing Autumn fall photos using amazing 49 and Market products - Rusty Autumn collection -  their  flowers.

The Rubber Buggy Products:

For this page I am using the Sketches in Thyme April 1st sketch so I worked on the base background following the sketch below.

The reverse side of the piece i cut out helped make the 2 outer banners in a different colour... and I added black cardstock behind the banners so they popped.

Using the stamp and ink I stamped the upper right corner. I have been using my platform for stamping.

In the closes ups you can view more details of the sections/ clusters of accents added to this layout.

Lots of chipboards from Creative Embellishments that are covered using Ann Butler Design Iridescent Sheer Gold Pearl medium.

More close ups showcasing this page.

This collection was exactly that.... a rusty collection with rich elegant colours all perfect for fall/ Autumn projects.

Thanks for stopping by... hope to see you again soon
.... but in the mean time be sure to stop by the STORE where these items and so many others are available. Also take note of all the products that aren't carried in our regular local stores. ... AND the service is A1.

Iridescent Chipboards from Creative Embellishments

So I am multi tasking today with a great page from our visit to McKee Gardens in Florida. I used lots of Creative Embellishments products on this page along with the Sketches in Thyme February 1st challenge sketch below. With the colour from the garden photos i chose to use Ann Butler's Iridescent medium to cover the chippies. In the background over the print papers I used Creative Embellishment stamp in black.

Creative Embellishments Products
Stamp: Squares
Other: print paper, cardstock, flowers, Ann Butler Iridescent medium, stickers
Sketch: SIT

In this photo you can see proposed chippie placement and the stamping on the background.

The chippies are covered with limelight iridescents which gives them a slight sheen.

The smaller size photos looked lost on the central section so I quickly added iridescents to the different sized squares to fit the photos... so they were framed too.

With the core and main page done I did some flowes along with some stickers to form clustered sections.

Another clustered section.

The main section through the centre is awesome and the photos are still the main attraction.

Be sure to visit the STORE for these and so many other products..... chipboards, stamps, stencils and flair buttons too.... and the greatest service.
So happy to have you visit.... see you again soon.

Fascinating page from the McKee Gardens

So I am multi tasking today with a great page from our visit to McKee Gardens in Florida. I used lots of Creative Embellishments products on this page along with the Sketches in Thyme February 1st challenge sketch below. With the theme of the park... the huts and figures I chose to use nateral colour of the chipboards.  I also love using frames along with great washi tape clusters and great choices of titles to complete my pages.

I started with creating the base background following the sketch.

For the title I combined Fascinating chippie title with a great sticker banner. On the lower border I used cut up pieces from the washi tape clusters and another sticker. Beside that I add some real 49 and Market flowers amongst the print paper flowers. Gives depth and demension to a page.

The zigzag frame is a great accent for almost any photo.

In the upper corner is another partial piece of washi tape clusters from the set and I used a white signo gel pen to add dotted stitch line.

More use of signo gel pen dotted stitched lines and same pen to write on the paper and add it to the chippie accent.
