Doilys are so easy with Kreaxions Products

DSCF6835

Hi and how are you today? At Just Imagine Crafts today I am still working on a Christmas page.. and on this one today I am using a doily I created using Kreaxions Products. You can purchase the standard white store bought doily, cut the snowflake like doily, even stamp a doily looking accent BUT OMG look how easy it is to make your own and you get to use any of the Kreaxions punches and can also change it up by starting with a circle marked off with the stencils for punch spots or use the star template to follow for punching. This process also allows you to adjust the size required with ease and also the colours.
I used the star stencil and punch # 913 and with the circular shape I used punch #923
DSCF6837 Resized

Here is my finished page using the star stencil with punch #913 to make my homemade doily.
I am sure there are also so many uses for doilys in your creative world.. and these are so easy to make.
Thanks for visiting today.. be sure to visit Just Imagine Crafts often when other DT share so many creative and fun ideas using Kreaxions products.

Altered Item into a Shaker

SWAT   today has my post sharing an altered item that
I changed into a shaker which are so much fun.
Here is a photo of the Jillibean Soup Packaging for the corrugated shapes.
It is perfect to make a shaker. The plastic dome is perfect but also today
I am using the background shaped piece.

Carefully take apart with as little ripping as possible.

I decorated the background packaging of the Jillibean Soup.

Add the beads to the clear plastic .. I found this the easiest way.
This way you can add the glue to the edge and flip the other piece on top
centred within reason with a quick slide to centre it if necessary.

Loved the sports theme on this one.. it will make a great guy card,
birthday card or just for fun project.
Cover the back side and add the sentiments.

It was so much fun I made another one which I totally papered
covering the whole background first. I then added some cute accents,
a banner and a sentiment. After using the same process to add the beads
I added an accent on the outside to finish it off.

Hope you enjoyed this today. Take inventory of your packaging of some
of your scrappy items. How many more of them come in this type of packaging.
Some of those small kids toys come in plastic domes also.
Save them and make some of these cute shakers.

Just Imagine February DT Reveal

When we share a Just Imagine Crafts/ Kreaxions DT reveal for the month we have a collection of themes to work from. Today the list is: Valentines, Love and Family... great choices with Valentines Day just around the corner.
Using very old photos (sorry for the dark colour..) they are precious memories. I made a family page remembering our 1st family home and also times with grandpa. The boys called Grandpa "Howdy" and that's how he greeted them when he say them. Both are loving memories that needed to be documented.  I used  Kreaxions punch #913 and throw away border and the circle cutter too.

Up close shows the circular photo with circular ring accent and the fab punched border that pops... fun ink rolled wavy circles make a great accent. I use stamp image from Heartfelt Creations stamps and the stars accents are inked from Creative Embellishments.

Lots of fun accents.. scrabble type letters, fun cluster with tag, twine, chipboard button and stickers.
Be sure to visit the blog where the rest of the DT shared and reveal
more amazing uses of the Kreaxions Products.

Cookin Up Creations - 4th Annual MAD ABOUT SKETCHES

Welcome to Focus Friday at Cookin Up Creations... and also to our celebrate of our 4th Annual MAD ABOUT SKETCHES in March. During the month of March, we will be working with skethces that have been provided to us by the very talented Susan Stringfellow. Also each of us received a small package of flair buttons to work with which are so generously donated by Julie at the Joyful Moose etsy store.

Using the sketch... I challenge you also to focus on using a cluster.
My fun floral and wood accent are a perfect cluster for this page.

Many thanks to our sponsor.. below is my card of buttons and the vintage looking ones were a great addition to my old photo page of my mom and dad before they were married.

You have all month to play along by sharing a LO, 2 cards, 4 ATC's or a altered project.. using the sketch and a cluster. I  would  love to see you join us and share your project.
