Sports Journaling at Ann Butler Designs

Sports Journaling

I created these Amazing Sports Journal Pages  using lots of stamps, art screens and inks by Ann Butler. They were so easy to mix and match patterns to create an amazing background in the journal book.

I created these super sports pages in a journal for my only Grand son who played many sports over the years. For these pages I started with stamping and stenciling and then added both washi tape and photos to the pages.

Here are a few close views to showcase some details.

Step 1:

These photos show the inked stenciling of my Grand sons name.

Step 2:
This photo shows the full double page from journal book after I finished stamping, stenciling and inking the complete background.

Step 3:

Here are the close up photos of the pages.

Step 3:

On the other side I started with rough placement of the photos and then I added some inked stamping along with more washi tape.

Creative Embellishments "dream" page

Hi it's Bev here as GDT for Creative Embellishments. I am sharing a "dream" page using a photo of my eldest Grand Daughter and her friend spending time together. I am using Ciao Bella Le Repubbliche Marinare Collection along with lots of Creative Embellishments chipboards.
With the colouring in the papers I chose to use the chipboards naked to coordinate ... perfect colouring match.

For this page I paint splattered in green and stenciled in gold. I then fussy cut on right side to slide in a piece of dark brown burlap type accent ribbon.

Next I chose the circle panel for a photo background, pulled basic alpha letters for the word "dream" and also grabbed the newest distressed circle pieces for a accent cluster in the lower corner.

In the close up views you can see the accents in better detail.

Stick it Down GDT and a fun ink background

Using this sketch for my GDT at Stick it Down ... it was perfect also for sharing  this fun Ink technique.

So I used Ann Butler Crafters Ink on paper.... and stamped my 3 colour choices.

I added small amount of water from spritser. and then brushed it on to the main paper. (below)

I then added a paper cross border trim to follow the sketch.
I then created my central piece and added pop foam for 3D depth and demension.

I inked the edges and matted the background and the central piece.... all following the Stick it Down sketch.

Here is the close up view.

Thanks for stopping by... be sure to visit Stick it Down to view all the fabulous takes on the sketch.

For this card I cut the black background and sized and cut the white frame just big enough to fir the gold die cut image.
