It's that time of year.. Hockey Season is starting

OMG it's that time of season again.. Hockey is starting again.
I haven't got new photos yet to share on my pages..but I do have some oldies but goodies
of my son when he played over in EC Lunen for a year.

Red Carpet Studios has a sports challenge up so I thought I'd play along because
I have this amazing themed sports papers from Paper House I'd like to share.
I used the Hockey Collection and there are even amazing accents to finish them off perfectly.

I love the theme collections.. you can't see where the paper ends and the accents begin....
and my photos fit perfectly.

I loved the frame on this patterned paper. Adding photos and accents worked out well.

Here is the collection I started with... be sure to check it and others sports themes out.

Red Carpet Studio GDT post

Red Carpet Studio Challenge this week is to use RIBBON.
I am thoroughly enjoying my GDT spot this month. Such fun product choices to
use on our pages and share with you  the many different options when using them.

On this close up I made the homemade rolled ribbon flower,
made the looped ribbon flower
and I use strips of ribbon to make the borders.
Also the dark plain black ribbon border is pleated.

Here is another fun close up .. I used so many fun accents on
this page. I ties twine around the photo and stitched a few stitches around the corner of paper.
The fun Punchinella  sets off the photo. (Punchinella is fun plastic ribbon that is left over after sequins are punched out, often called "sequin waste" or "sequin scrim." )
Some of the metal and other accents are Momenta. They were perfect with the
papers and colours.

Red Carpet Studio.. GDT for March and so excited

I am excited to share that for the month of March
I am a GDT at Red Carpet Studios.
For this page we had to use BUTTONS and share with you some of the ideas to use them.

On this first close up you can see the button added to the paperclip... so easy but cute accent.

This one shows a clear button added to the rubon sentiment...
and beside it the button border

In this close up corner I used SRM sticker accents and stitches and rubon florals.
When the cluster was ready I tied twine to the buttons and
added them to the centre of the flowers.

Our sponsor this week is Close to My Heart Consultant Janet Royer! One lucky, randomly chosen winner will receive a Surf's Up Paper Packet and a Patterned Pennants stamp set! Don't forget the design team will also choose their three favorite submissions to be in our spotlight!

So who isn't inspired by
... St. Patricks Day..
and who doesn't love all the green in the fun projects.

This fabulous SRM Pillow Clear Case.. is a great treat case.
I decorated it with buttons,
twine, SRM stickers and stitches.

After decorating I added some of the small dollar store mini chocolate bars
and what a great treat case for St. Patricks day.

I am having so much fun with these too cute button accents.
I used the colours of the rainbow that leads to the pot of gold.....
 to celebrate St. Patricks Day.

It can be used to accent my SRM pillow case above.. or in the photo below
we could accent it with the tag all done up for St. Patricks Day.

I used some fun layers on this cute tag. Then I cricut cut the clover leaf,
added the rainbow coloured buttons, tied on the ribbons
and added some SRM stickers to complete the tag.

Thanks for hopping along.. I had fun sharing with you today.

Friends

Hi .. so hope your having a great day. Are you looking for some inspiration?

Scrapbook Stamp Society is one of my new DT teams where I am Sketch Designer.
Maybe this sketch will motivate you?
Below is the card I made using it.

AND Red Carpet Studio's Challenge #21TED is to put a bear on a card.
Thsi cute digi girl is holding my bear for the challenge.
I used Fancy Pants About a Girl .. it was so perfect with this
really cute digi image. I used copic markers and blended to shade the dress.

I also am on an Easel Card kick and this card is such a card.

Lots of fun accents on this card: twine, rubons,
clear gel accents and lots of fun paper layers.

And today's post for Just Imagine Crafts is using the above card.
It worked so well for both posts today.
Here is the up close Kreaxions Punch #309 border which creates the perfect ledge
to support the stand up easel card.

Beauty of NATURE

Red Carpet Studio Challenge RCS #12 is to share a pet or animal page and link it to play along.
This also is a page used for challenges at sites I play along
I used the nature photo of my humming bird
from the cottage in black n white. It was perfect for all challenges.

In this close up I used Momenta banner letters because the colouring was perfect.
I added a stapled piece of burlap ribbon and added some inked strips.

This close up shows the chevron border with accent brads and also
the Momenta puff dragon fly accent.

This close up details some of the fun doodling on the corners that
I like to do using a signo white gel pen.
Thanks for stopping by today.
