I am excited to share that I am back again at Practical Scrappers.
I will be on the Specialty Team and couldn't wait to get started again...
so today I start with the fabulous sketch of the month.
So using the sketch below I created the sports page above.
When you do as many sports pages as I do it's always
fun to find a sketch that gets the job done without special
papers and not too many special accents. There are only so
many out there and using the same ones over and over
is frustrating.. as soon as I saw this sketch I saw team colours,
fewer actual sport accents and extras photo opportunities.
In the close ups I highlight some of my ideas.
In the sketch a cluster of accents in the upper right opened some space
for accents but also the added photo spot.
The chipboard title is accented with Jillibean Soup corrugated brackets.
I loved the solid cardstock that could be layered with team colours
and the frame cluster to support more photos... and only a single soccer ball
and the few journal strip accents.
With the fab layers of colour forming the eye catching design.. it needed the
signo white gel pen doodled stitches to give it pop.
I loved the photo cluster with some framing, matting, added Jillibean Soup
corrugated arrow accent and white pointed strip behind..
all small thing but together in a cluster it's perfect.
