this one was to use a recycled item... the label from

Delightful Inspiration

This cute card used 3 of

Designed 2 Delight digis one of them being the newest one.

The background was glimmer misted, lots of fun circles added,

inked distressed edges and a touch of bling.

Meljen's Design Challenge #43

Meljen's Design Challenge #43 HEARTS

I layered lots of hearts, doodled the edges, inked the tattered edge, added

a sentiment and a chipboard with tied ribbon.

Most importantly I used 3 of Meljen's Digis which made for

a cute valentines card.

Creative Scrappers #141

This is the first time I used a Sketch from

Creative Scrapper Sketch #141

I misted the background with meshed circle to

pull the paper circles into it.

The border punched with Kreaxions #917 and used the

Kreaxions circle cutter.

I love epoxy words... they look so cool.

Fussy cut circles with scissors, added tied ribbons

and a bit of Micron Pen doodling.

Scrapbooking Journey

Family memories when we were all together.

Three generations to share with grandkids.

My grandparents.

A visit to meet many relatives we had never even meet before.

More Texas Relatives... it was amazing to get to meet them all.

Mom's brother and SIL's out west. Haven't seen them for many years.

I just won a Dunkin' Donuts voucher from

Fancy with Nancy's blog.

She told of her scrapbooking journey and wanted to know about yours.

I shared my blog site with her because it is my scrapping journey, a story full of

family memories and lots of layouts to share all this with friends and family.

I leave a legacy of our family in the pages and

I share them with family to pass on to their family (i hope)

in years to come.

The layouts above just show a few examples of what will be passed on... it is amazing to tell

the story on Layouts to save your ancestry... and I am loving doing it.

My Sketch World Challenge

Ann's Challenge at My Sketch World this month

was to pleat paper. It is a fabulous accents on any page.

I added some ribbon through the centre of it.

it turned out adorable, fun and with bright colours

it's screams summer.

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday

Just Imagine/ Kreaxions Punches

Today was so beautiful and sunny it inspired this fun bright colourful layout.

Lots of fun bright flowers and butterflies.

On the upper edge of circle which of course was cut with Kreaxions circle cutter.. I punched

the outer edge with Kreaxions #917 with insert A.

On the bottom border I punched with

Kreaxions #903 with insert A. I then used #604 for the butterflies.

Fussy cut flowers popped up, cute buttons, some Prima pearls, stitching and pierced embroidered stitching were the added accents.

For any of you that love all the punch work on my layouts and cards

This layout was also used on My Sketch World for

Malin's Summer and butterfly challenge.

Designed 2 Delight @ Delightful Inspirations has a fabulous digi this week.

This adorable card and the cutest bear with gift. Lots of layers, border,

brads and the banner with hugz on it.

The Challenge #11 this week at Pattie's Creations is to use

Colour PLUS.. black n white plus ONE colour.

I love the red addition to this digi and the

overall card. I used a Martha Punch, lots of layers, ribbon and brads

Designed 2 Delight Digi of the month is this cute cupcake.

I thought it would be fun to print multiplies of the

digi as the background .. glimmer misted it and then

popped up the copic coloured cupcake with some ribbon accent,

a clear sticker sentiment and some cute hearts.

My Sketch World One Hour Sketch Challenge and Terrifically Thrilling Thursday

HI, so I was the host of the one hour sketch challenge at My Sketch World.

This is the first time I was the host and not one of the participates who

gets to create a layout using Lucy's Sketch.
With adrenaline rushing, nervous excitement you rush to

creates and share with the others what you did in an hour.

As host I thought I'd add a twist to the challenge.

I found this amazing photo which they were encouraged to

use as colour inspiration.

Below is my sample of the finished layout using the sketch by Lucy

and the colour inspiration of the photo.

I used border punches by Kreaxions #305 and #917 with insert

Used lots of fun fussy cutting to make the flower accents aroung the circle.

Prima bling pearls were a perfect soft touch and a few gem stone, sticker title

and touch of doodling.. and of course the beautiful photos of my girls made it perfect.

I used this adorable layout as my Terrifically Thrilling Thursday

at Just Imagine / Kreaxions this week.

My Sketch World January 15th Sketch Reveals

My Sketch World with Lucy has amazing sketches to share with us monthly.

Add some amazing challenges from the DT and you have

a home away from home full of fun, inspiration and support.

This Layout used the sketch above. I had some fun with

funky corners, added some embroidery, rubons, tag with ribbon and 2 photos the same just one
black n white and one coloured.
With this fabulous Card Sketch by Lucy
I made 2 cards.

I used the Martha Stewart border punch and added some lace.

The sentiment is a clear transparency and I added a few brads.

This card much the same however I made the

crochet flower and added a brad centre.

Do give Lucy's sketch a look see and try a few of them.

You will fall in love with them like so many of us have.
