Buddies are like Peas in a Pod

Buddies are like Peas in a Pod.
Using the sketch below at Creative Scrappers #230 I also did the
My Scraps and More Trick or Treat #11
Webbing challenge when I used twine, and wrapped rope around a circular piece and
my fibre was ribbon that I pleated.
I had great fun with a stencil and gesso, lots of doodling and
the perfect product today is Momenta. I am loving the metals, stickers and
the rubons went on fantastic.. not like some that only half stick.

Beautiful but dark

OMG this is beautiful but very dark and I love it. I used multi tasking on this one. The Sketch below is Creative Scrappers #229 and also was used for a challenge at Cookin' Up Creations and I used it for a challenge at Scraps of Darkness a new site I just joined.

My Sketch World, Cookin Up Creations Birthday Bash and Creative Scrappers #161

Multi tasking... My Sketch World Malin Challenge is scraplifting.

I chose the layout below by Christa.. needed 3 photos so it was perfect.

Cookin Up Creations Birthday Bash #13 is to use

3 photos that are progressive. Thesse ball photos were perfect for this.

Christa's layout.. isn't it just too cute.. soft and elegant too.

Now the 2nd page of sports layout I used the

Creative Scrappers Sketch #161. Altered slightly so I could add some more

sports and action photos.

We Scrap June Challenge and Creative Sketch #158

The colour palette below is from Sarah at We Scrap. I used it and the sketch from

Creative Scrappers #158 to create the above layout.

Dream is a fun layout of the girls all dressed up. Used fun rubons, fun brads, doodling, layers,

accents, stickers and title letters.

Sure hope you take the time to see what others create using these colours and sketch. It still always amazes me how we all start with the same criteria and see how different they are when the projects are done.

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday
with Me.

Today I used 2 punches both on the same
border... the top edge is #306 with insert A and the
bottom is punch #907. Then I backed it so it
had a dark edge and popped through the cut out portion.
It really finishes the layout border perfectly.

Here is a better detailed look at the 2 punches used on
the border on the same piece.
I used my new Sew Easy Tool and embroidery floss on the
circles that I drew of course with my lead pencil in
the circle cutter.
Below is the sketch I used from Creative Scrappers #146.
It was perfect for these cute photos I used.

Creative Scrappers #145

I had to turn the Creative Scrapper #145 sketch to accomodate the old
photos of my grandmother.
In keeping with the vintage theme I wanted...
I distressed and inked, ripped the photos,
added a few rubon accents,
prima pearls,
gem and pearl floral accents
and added glimmer mist and paint in the background.

This cute layout I used Creative Scrappers #144 sketch below.
I started with a glimmer misted background... used lots of
fun photos... added accents.. and finished... too cute.
I then made the 2nd page which turned it into a
fabulous double pager as per below.

Creative Scrappers Sketch #142

The McKee Botanical Gardens in Vero Beach Florida
are amazing. The folage is fabulous and if they have
an exhibit on display it is just an added attraction.
Mom and I had a great walk through the park grounds
enjoying all the trees, bushes, flowers and ponds with walking bridges.
On this layout I added flowers, bling pearls and 3 dimentional butterflies.
All accented with stickles for sparkle.
I used the sketch below to inspire this fabulous page.

Creative Scrappers #141

This is the first time I used a Sketch from

Creative Scrapper Sketch #141

I misted the background with meshed circle to

pull the paper circles into it.

The border punched with Kreaxions #917 and used the

Kreaxions circle cutter.

I love epoxy words... they look so cool.

Fussy cut circles with scissors, added tied ribbons

and a bit of Micron Pen doodling.
