OK I am sharing the details on this card today that I used just the tree stamp and die with small amounts of kit paper. I am still using the Christmas Kit fully loaded from Creative Escape Papercrafting. Each card is different and I will do individual blog posts sharing the how to info so you can make them too. Be sure to visit daily when I do another one.
For this card I thought it would be fun to play with the Kaisercraft stamp/die set to create a card.
Kit lives up to its name. It starts with a set of 6 stamps with 4
matching dies. There are 18 sheets of 6.5″ x 6.5″ specialty paper (some
of which are foiled). It comes with a full 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of acetate and
0.5 oz of Lawn Fawn chunky glitter – a perfect combination for shaker
cards! There’s also a bottle of Liquid Mercury Nuvo drops and a bunch of
other goodies to give you an abundance of card making options.
For this card I stamped using black ink on the left side of the base cardstock. I then die cut it out.
You then flip it over which puts the negative of die cut to the right side.
Matt the background so it fills the empty die cut space.
With the stamped die cut tree I now applied glossy accents unevenly spread all over the image. Then using Lawn Fawn chunky glitter from the kit I sprinkled it.
Working with the black, white and cream colour palette I matted the strip of foil look paper, cut a sentiment square with image from the accent paper sheet and matted it too.
Using the Sew Easy ink roller i added some stitch line which I then added Nuvo glitter crystal drops for added touch of glitter and colour.
This is a very simple easy card with lots of mats for colour and great use of stamp and die cut tree images with just a touch of kit paper.... it's perfect.
