Terrifically Thrilling Thursday and Multi Photo Layouts AND Cookin' Up Creations
Hi.. hope your starting out your Thursday on the right foot.
Today I'd like to talk about those celebrations that have so many fun photos and how do you get alot of photos on a layout without looking aweful. Well I think when you use borders and dividing lines it works fabulously... So on this layout I did just that... with punched accents.
On the left border I backed the photo and edged the right side with Kreaxions Punch #305. That pulled those 3 photos together.
Then with the fall away piece on the bottom right I added a forest green strip to pop that piece and separate 2 more photos... and added pj Party letters.
The banner made using Kreaxions Punch #304 separates the bigger backed photo.
If you notice I used forest green to punch backgrounds to pop them off the page.
Sure hope you like this multi photo layout tip and dust off those punches to give your page a fabulous look... hope you have a great day.. hugs Bev
Also with my multi tasking I used this layout at Cookin' Up Creations where the challenge was to use the new Bakers Twine on your project.. so the banner using bakers twine a perfect match.

Cookin' Up Creations Friday Focus & We Scrap Challenge
This month at Cookin' Up Creations we are celebrating TV or DVD MOVIES.
Today I chose "baby einstein" discovering shapes. So appropriate for my varigated cardboard boughten shapes... stars, scalloped frames, arrow and tag... along with my homemade title which I cut with cricut then ran through my crimper. They are so cute on this all boy layout.
Also when making this layout I used the We Scrap July challenge by Sue.. she supplied us with a sketch and it was perfect for this layout.. it all came together beautifully... at least I love it.

Practical Scrappers - Brown is the new Black
"At first mention, the color brown may seem boring, but brown is really one of the greatest colors around if you ask me. Just think creamy chocolate, rich coffee, smooth latte...Brown works as a great neutral, holding it's own beside white or black as a base color, without the harshness black can sometimes add to a project. Brown is warm and comforting, natural and calming, and works with just about everything. Think about a light blue and brown color combo, or apple green and brown, bubblegum pink and brown etc.
Have a look at some of these fabulous brown projects, and I'm sure you'll be swayed to add a bit of brown into your next project. "

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday and XOXO and MSW
Just Imagine Crafts / Kreaxions weekly project but also play along with my friends
over at XOXO.. so I scraplifted Lisa Watson. Love the simplicity of her lift
and it worked with page 2 of my double for the summer layout.
Also Jen at My Sketch World's July Challenge had WATER theme.border. Backed it with red through the black.. it's very dark but I love it.

Shutterfly.. and Weddings
Shutterfly is becoming very popular... and I have been using it.
I have been making albums of my scrapping pages so when I give them
all away I have a copy for myself. It is an amazing way to preserve my work.
Today however there was a promo for a 12x12 book at 50% off
and what a great way to save some of the boys Wedding photos.
Shutterfly also has a link to share and embed the project on here to share ... so here it
is for any of you that would love a peek.

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday
Great Inspiration this month.. a colour inspiration and 2 sketches to chose from. Hope you'll play along in the challenge section. We'd love to see your projects.
Using this sketch I made a layout instead of a card, added an extra photo and some cute embellishments.
I added rubons, stitching, flower cluster, some brads, popped up a few things and to finish it off Just Imagine/ Kreaxions Punches. The border is using Kreaxions #302 and the bottom flower is #601 and the pieces I punched out are in the centre section for accents too.
Sure hope you have a great day and hope to see you everyday when the DT share with you some amazing and inspiring projects.... hugs Bev
