Cookin Up Creations and Doodling

Today at Cookin' Up Creations I scraplifted  using (Altered Diva) Cassie's scraplift... her doodling caught my eye for this great Wednesday using fun technique we don't always us often enough and it looks so cool and great. .. and all you need is pencil, pens.. anything you like to doodle with. Add using your stash and it's perfect.

Fun circles, your own printed title, and hand drawn hearts with more hearts and stars.

More circles with some fun wavy lines using a ruler.

The upper left corner has doodled stitching.

Fab start to 2014 using Robin's Nest Wild about You Collection, Gina's Design Accents and Kreaxions Punches

What an amazing start to 2014.. 

Robin's Nest Wild about You Collection

and Gina's Design join to create such fabulous creations.

Lots of fun layers of monochromatic colours with a pop of white and black.. 

so stunning and beautiful together.

Lots of pop of colour with punched borders that are matted.

A circular doodled stitch is accented with diamond dew drops.

Gina's Design chipboard accents are painted and inked... and added to page.

Up close you see the layers, pops of colour and fun clustered accents.

Also made the fun heart punched doily and added the painted flourish accent.

Getting a little wild with this one.. love the animal prints.

Gesso masked background and some added paint splatter base 

the many layers of different shapes and sizes of patterned paper.

Punches, twine, sentiment and gemstones added to Gina's Design shapes that are inked black.

Clustered sections with Gina's Doily, butterfly and peacock feather accents and more twine.

Using glitter paper and punching out the rose design patterned paper 

which I matted with black so it popped was perfect 

with the black inked Gina's Design accents.

Finished off the top right corner with white diamond shape dew drops to form a flower.

The Gina's Design accents were so easy to paint and ink any colour to match the project.

3 Scrappy Boys GDT Call combined with Turtle Soup Challenge

3 Scrappy Boys is having a GDT call... I thought it would be fun to apply.

So using their sketch below by Lanette I made my Disney page.

Lots of fun layers, accents and trims to finish the mermaid page.

 I love using stickers, punchinella, Robin's Nest Dew Drops, fussy cut chevron border

 and inked layers and also ripped the paper.

Some fun tied twine with a metal accent, more dew drops and the\

 printed journal strips for detail info.

I am also using this page for the Friday Inspiration challenge at the Turtle Soup.

It was a colour photo with lots of fabulous blue items...  

which inspired all the shades of blue layered patterned papers.

Just Imagine Crafts and Cookin Up Creations Challenge Saturday Sketch

Hi welcome to Just Imagine Crafts today.. I made the page above using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter and punches 905 and 917. I also used a sketch from Laura Whitiker(below) from a Cookin Up Creations Challenge. Such great lines from the sketch.. great colours, fun layers and great accents.

I started with paint splatter.. and this close up shows the heart punched border and the pop out pieces.

Starting with a Kreaxion Circle Cut.. I then used the Kreaxions stencils to 

mark the lines to punch around the circle....

and the outer fall away piece also makes a great accent... and more scattered hearts.

The upper corner of this section also show the throw away pieces for the punched border. 

This 4 in 1 Kreaxions punch allow for so many variations... and this is only a few ways.

The New Year starts at Let's Get Sketchy

Welcome to 2014 at Let's Get Sketchy and lets start off January with the great sketch below and 

some more dance pages.

I had fun making this fun and easy chevron border. Taking square strips just fold the corners and 

match the points and on to the next one.... OMG so easy.

Every Monday we share sketches and the DT reveals their interpretation to hopefully inspire you.

Then play along and link so you can be in on the weekly and monthly winnings.

SWAT #23 and my WORD for the New Year

SWAT #23 Challenge was to use either a New Years Resolution, Word, or Goal.

I chose a Word for the year " FAMILY". I love any time spent with family.. whether it's to celebrate together or just enjoy a casual get together. They also are getting used to me getting my camera and 

taking lots of photos.. singles, group and my favourite .. everyone photos .. like the one on my page.

Project 12 for 2013

I had so much fun making Project 12 using Lisa Moens/ double page sketches.

If it was a busy month I did more than 1 project that month. 

I am thrilled with my album for the year that came together. 

This month I will complete the month of December and it's totally done.

I am sharing what is done as one of my favourite things I did this past year.

Welcome to January Scraplifting using your Stash at Cookin' Up Creations.. it doesn't get any better then that. So today I have a lift from Cheryl O (above)
and here is my page .. i turned it sideways to accommodate my photos.

AND with this I challenge you to use all those fabulous layers and add a punched item. I used the punch on my shield accent that i added half in upper left corner and also the other half in the lower right under the photo.

2014 at the Turtle Soup

Welcome to  the New Year with the Turtle Soup.

We are all excited to start the new year with some old returning DT and lots of newbies too.. and members are joining all the time. We would love for you to join us in 2014.

Sharing her fabulous sketches monthly Lisa Moen hosts the Project 12 which was amazing last year.

My finished album will be a perfect story of 2013.. when i finish December during this first month of January.

Week #5 at Let's Get Sketchy is a Bingo Challenge

Week #5 at Let's Get Sketchy is always fun. We mix it up with lots of great things to try and share with you.

This month it's a Bingo Challenge.

I used the 2nd row: jounal strips, 3 photos, flowers, buttons and punch.

I am still enjoying working on a dance album for a friend. Really cool to take

someone's photos and put the pages together
