Hi... it's Bev today with a super fun sparkles page up at ScraPerfect. What a fun foil transfer background and so easy to create when using ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever and Transfer Foil. Together it looks fabulous .. sure you would love it to.
This is a page using a photo of my mom and my best friend when we made a trip together overnight at the Niagara Falls, Fallsview Casino. We always have such fun together viewing a show, playing the slots and doing a walk about the beautiful area with flowers and falls. Our view from our room often showcases both the US and Canadian falls in all their beauty.
Supply List:
Today's page starts with a cardstock black background. I thought the fun sparkles foil transfers on black would be awesome. I lightly spread best glue ever in squiggle lines on the paper leaving central section open where photos would go. Let the glue dry a bit to make foil adhering easier.
After estimating the photos placement I went back again to add more foil and in different colours which made it fun and colourful.
Some spots I made thicker and others thinner.
Here is my finished foil transfer background. I love it. What amazing sparkling glitter effect... in so many colours too.
Next I placed papers, photos and some accents on the page .. and was pleased with the background placement.
The heart and the title needed to be foil transferred too. I added Best Ever Glue to the chippies and let it dry. If it's not dry enough it just pulls away... so be patient please. Then place it on the foil ... press firmly and I used a stick to gently rub on it to make it stick and stay down.
The Best Glue Ever with the Non Clog fine Writing Tip is the best to glue down all the fine thin areas in any project and accents.
After gluing down all the layers, papers, accents and photos... the last thing was to add a few extras like the beads and flowers.
In the closeups you can view some of the details of my page. I love paper clusters using fussy cuts from a collection.
Here are the beads and flower clustered section.
A close up of beads and flowers.
I love adding round matted photos to get more than one photo on a page... and OMG look at the background work up close.
Last but not least is the finished section with the chipboards that are foil transferred and they look amazing and shiny too.
