Welcome to My Scraps and More
Love is in the Air CROP.
Today I have a card challenge with a tutorial for you.
Start with your base cardstock card. Mark and draw a centre circle on the front panel only.
The circle should only be slightly bigger than the choosen chipboard accent (or cricut cut image).
You will be adding some twine to dangle the chipboard accent.
Also trace the chipboard accent onto coordinating paper to handcut out and apply to the
back of the chipboard where you glued the twine.
Tape and or glue your accent to the front of card.
This is where you have 2 options.
1. glue to backside of front of card .. and then cover the twine inside the card
with a matching piece of cardstock to cover the tape and glue..
and decorating your fornt of your card.
OR
2. glue accent to the front panel of card and when decorating your card do
it on a matching panel and apply to the front of the card over the twine taped or glued accent.
(this is the method I used - I decorated a full front cardstock cut with circle
and applied when all done)
Decorate the card front with any accents and trims to match your dangling accent.
When the front is done stick it to the front base of card that bird is swinging from.
The cute bird free swings in the circle when the card is standing.
Thanks for stopping by.. would love for you to try this technique.
