I am so excited to share my project today.
After the boxes are made it's open for any decorations you like. I wanted them fun and bright in colour. I did want a border on the sides so I used Kreaxions Punch #301. With the contrast in colour
the punched image pops through on the purple coffin box. on the sides of the orange n black coffin box I used the throw away piece on the sides.
Here are the instructions to make it:
First you go to Martha's site to pick up the 2 printable templates (Bottom and Lid), here are the two links:
http://images.marthastewart.com/images/content/web/pdfs/2008Q4/tvs_4018_101008_coffinbottom.pdf
http://images.marthastewart.com/images/content/web/pdfs/2008Q4/tvs_4018-101008_coffintop.pdf
They are «Print Ready» pdf documents, that means you don't need to muck around with printing dimensions and settings, they will print on a standard 8 1/2'' x 11'' paper. Normally you would print them on white paper and use them as templates over the patterned and/or coloured papers that you choose for your box... but... Go to the next step to see a much easier way of doing it!!
