SWAT is live.. check it out.

Welcome to S.W.A.T.
Here is what you can expect:

We have 2 Drills (challenges) per month. With each drill there will a prize that has been has donated by an amazing sponsor!
Drills are issued on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month and you will have until the 25th of each month to add your project to each drill using the Mr. Linky! A winner will be selected from both drills at the end of the month. If you participate in both challenges you double your chances of being a winner!

Basic Training

Our Lieutenant will take you through your Basic Training the 2nd Saturday every month. This training is to build up your skills and show you some new tips and tricks. With each training session we will challenge you to use your new skills for the chance at becoming our Featured SWAT Girl, which will be chosen from all the participants. Projects must be linked up to Mr Linky by the end of each month to be considered.

Special Ops Training
Our Captain, will push your skills to new limits with Special Ops Training on the 4th Saturday of every month. Be prepared to go "off the page" with altered items, 3-Dimensional projects, and step-by-step tutorials. You won’t believe it until you see it so make sure you stop in!

It's official SWAT is up and running. Here is Challenge #1  and DT reveal.
Sure hope you'll play along and share with us.

The Challenge #1 is All About YOU.... Let's show the world who you are.

Here is my page and how it evolved.

I have been dabbling in digital scrapping and actually have fun doing it... so my page
above is digital. It shows a photo of me and my family. With retirement I can now take time
to create to my hearts desire and am loving it. The subjects of most of my pages
are my family, celebrations, holidays, scenery and friends too.

It then evolved even more when My Scraps and More and Lisa challenged us to share with her
in making a Project 12. I have started some but never finished them.. and I am hoping with
her at the helm challenging us that it might be fun to do this for the whole year.

AND what does that have to do with my SWAT Challenge #1..
well here is what I did using my digital page which I printed at about 8x8" size on my printer.

I added the digital page that started with SWAT and added it to my paper background with some paint added, lots of fun accents, stamping, life captured title, brad with twine,
and added embroidered flowers to the digi clusters.
This is now the cover of my Project 12.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you'll check out SWAT on a weekly basis to see what level
they incourage you to step up to with fun, motivating and fabulous  challenges and creative
tutorials and inspiring ideas.

Bev, excellent job on "your" layout! Love what you did with it and that you added it to the other background! Best of luck with this challenge site! It's awesome!

Bev, I just LOVE your digi creations (as well as your IRL creations)!!! I love how you combined them both into one fabulous page! Hoping to play along with this site some too. Looks fun!
