Terrifically Thrilling Thursday and Cards

Hi everyone.. so I thought for a change I'd share 2 cards this week each with a different twist and idea or technique to share.
The above xmas card has stamping on the background, some embossing powder in with the sentiment and many layers.
The bottom punched border is matted so the Kreaxions Punch #312 with insert A pops.
The doiley is started with a circle cut with of course the Kreaxions Circle Cutter and then punched with Kreaxions Punch #914 with insert A. The snowflake pieces are scattered on the back ground.
Now for the fun part... the TREE. Using Kreaxions Circle Cutter cut a 4 1/2" circle with double sided paper and cut it in half. Then laying it down on a flat surface straight edge to left side estimate about 2" to the right and fold across and over the left edge. Then fold to right side past the outer edge and one more time to the left finishing with a pointed peak.

This cute card started with a lower edge border punched with Keaxions Punch #311 with insert A and weaved black paper to pop the punch.
Now for the fun accent... hand cut spool (no pattern). Put a slit on top and add some doodling ink accents. Wind bakers twine around it and end with piece through the slit. Back ground stamped and then lots of fun layers again. Put a bakers twine across the lower bottom with a baby (tiny) spool for accent.
Sure glad you could stop by today.. hope to see you again... Bev DT
