Robin's Nest and amazing Floral collection

Robin's Nest for the month of August is celebrating with the use of their Floral Collection.

What an amazing mix of products. 

Today I am starting with a page that is soft and beautiful.

To pull all the pink and beigy brown/gold out of the patterened paper I used cut files

that I then matted to put the pink and brown together... it was perfect.

In this close up I share some fun flowers in a cluster with dew drop accents, 

a verse with twine tied metal key,  a butterfly beside the rubon sentiment 

and some of the fabulous background cut file.

These 2 close up views show case the Kreaxons punched banner above 

and below the camera and title cut files.

Up next with some more awesome floral collection is a page called Love You

and this page is for my Florida neighbors when I get back there again.

This close view shares the cut file title, the fun butterfly accent with twine

and also notice the flowers have dew drop centres.

In the bottom corner are brad accents and some stitching.

This close up shares another fun butterfly from the sticker collection and you 

can also see parts of the full of hearts cut file.

This section gives an nice over view.. but take a look at

the fabulous fun upper floral sticker border and I added dew drops to it.

Paper House Productions and their amazing Canvas accents

Today I am excited to be working with Paper House Productions amazing paper 

but also their canvas accents that are a great addition to any page or project.

This is a photo of  my mom and I a few years back.. and I wanted 

something soft. elegant and beautiful to base my photo.

Here is the fabulous cluster of canvas sticker accents, some ribbon, stamped canvas leaves 

and some buttons.. one tied with twine.

Behind this is a paint splatter cut file from A Cutt Above which allowed me to use another

soft coloured print paper matted behind.

Here is what the splatter matted behind looked like when I started.

When you have 2 of the same print it allows you to fussy cut images to pop

on top of the full sheet .. ink the edges so they have dimention.

Here I fussy cut the flower and inked the edges also.

Not in the above and below photo that I added stitching.

Here is another canvas sticker accent .. a stitched corner 

and the fun cricut cut title which I outlined with black pen.

Let's Get Sketchy and inspiring DT reveal I Love You

At Let's Get Sketchy today we had a fabulous sketch (as per below)... and it was 

perfect for this great photo of our Florida friends. I wanted fun bright

and colourful paper and the hearts cut file was a great background.

There were some fun matching stickers and add some stitching, brads and twine and 

it was just perfect.

My first solo blog post using A Cutt Above cut files

Hi Bev here today... to share my first solo post sharing 

the amazing A Cutt Above cut files. 

When cutting some of the great files we get to use the positive and

the negative as I did on this page.

This detail photo above shows the positive cut ..

 then taking the fall away pieces I arranged 

them on the lower left setion. (see below photo)

It's awesome how you can get 2 different looks that

look amazing on a page using both sections of a cut file.

I love multi tasking so some of you might recognize the paper from the

Mosaic and So Much Fun

I am excited to be on the A Cutt Above Design Team.

I forces me to get my cut machine out and use it more regularily... 

and the fabulous new fun cut files being created by Brenshevia are great to work with.

Above is the Mosaic and it was cut onto the 12x12 fun beach paper and

individual pieces were glued to form the mosaic onto the base background.

Some sections of the pieces are substituted with actual photos and

also a birthday greeting. A few panels are stitched for depth and texure. Fun 

journaling strips are added, Robin's Nest dew drops and a So Much Fun 

cut file for the title finishes off the page.

Loving the Outdoors with Robin's Nest Lodge Collection

Hi  today I am using this amazing Lodge Collection has been awesome this month.

It's fabulous for so many outdoor pages.... 

whether it's camping, hunting or just doing a rustic outdoors page.

First I will detail the background cut accents.... but don't miss viewing the many amazing 

layers using the wide variety of colours, glitters, prints, plaids and fun stripes.

I am using my A Cutt Above cut files to make the background circles. 

When cutting some of these great files you can use the positive and

the negative section as an accent on your pages.

some clustered accents and the fun inked edges and some stitching.

The extra corrugated corner border is added to show a touch more texture.

Let's Get Sketchy DT Reveal is today.. using my sketch

Super excited today .. the Let's Get Sketchy DT Reveal is using my sketch.. above.

I had fun with this one....cut file is from A Cutt Above instead of matting it

I placed and glued on the single pieces.. reminded me of water splatter... 

perfect for a fishing page.

Super fun corner cluster... a sew easy ink roller stitch line... a sticker title

 and some fun stickers. 

This shows the overall centra layers, accents, water splatter and some 

fun Robin's Nest large dew drops.. add a few journal stickers

and a fun tag cluster.

Starting with a painted cardstock base... I cut this amazing new cut file from A Cutt Above, then

added Simple Stories Hello Baby paper behind the grids spaced out.

This fabulous canvas accent is from Linnie Blooms collections..

 be sure to check them all out. I added a ripped paper with inked edges and fussy cut the image 

and  adhered it using some fun brads.

Here are few more close ups to detail some fun accents.

Added a fussy cut border, cute camera accent and so very sweet journal words all with inked edges.
