Paper House and Plaid --- wow amazing

HI.. everyone. This month Paper House has been posting with Plaid and all their
amazing products.

We had a November give away.... congrats to the winner.. Buffy

*************************************************************

and now we're onto December when we will have another give away.....

I had so many projects that I used cross promo with Paper House and Plaid.
So here we go........

1st up is an altered photo album.
In the above photo you can view the photo book from the corner Bealls Outlet,
This album, some fabulous paper from Paper House, Plaid products and lots
of misc accents from my stash and I am ready to tackle this project.

This close up view shows the finished title for the album.
It was created using Paper House paper,  misc alpha letters and then I added the words
to the camera photo which was hand cut from the Paper House paper
and placed  on the ripped and inked background.
All the layers were mod podged and evenly covered.

Starting with the base album I mod podged the whole upper cover.
Then using a page out of an old book I torn into pieces and applied to the book cover with more
mod podge and covered again with another thin coat.

While the cover is drying I used the Folk Art Paint to colour the flourish accent.
I didn't want it all one colour so spread the 3 colours uneven across the full piece.
Let dry.

Now using all the fun misc accents from my stash.. I placed them roughly in place on the cover
to be sure of the placement of everything.
I slide the doily behind the title and a small piece of added punchinella.
With the flourish to top left I placed the florals all together twisting the wires
to hold them in the rough design and shape to fit the space allotted.
Then starting with the left side I put the 2 pieces.. lace and trim down 1st.
Next I placed the flourish and glued it down.
The wire tied together accent was stabilized to album then
the title with doily and punchinella adhered.
I then added the right bottom 2 rows of stones.. and cut some single apart and
spread them over the upper area in spuratic spots.

Above is my finished project. I am so happy with it.
It will make a beautiful xmas gift with some family photos in it.

Project #2 is another album that started the same as the first ..
only this one needed to be totally covered on the outside on all pieces.

In the close up you can see all pieces sized, cut and applied
to the album using Mod Podge.

The front cover has Plaid Folk Art paint applied and dried. Then using Mod Podge satin the
ripped Paper House field hockey paper is applied.

The added Paper House field hockey stickers are then applied and the
finishing top coat is Plaid Glitter Mod Podge.
