This month at Paper House we are using Plaid products as a cross promo.
We received an amazing patch of Plaid products to use.
To start with I played with the paints using the Folk Art Acrylic paints.....
which are all-purpose acrylic paint for decorative crafts and home décor. Superior coverage. Exceptional brush ability. Use on all porous surfaces.
All colors are certified AP non-toxic, water-based, and acid neutral.
On this jar I did more circular rings of colour to decorate the jar.
When the jar is dry you can decorate it any way you like.
I used some burlap ribbon some rubons and 3D stickers ..
which is so easy and fun to use.
Supply List:
Paint:Plaid Folk Art multi purpose Acrylic
Rubon: Fancy Pants
Stickers: Paper House 3D Live Well STDM-0140

Using the same plaid Folk Art Acrylic Paints I changed up the process.
Dropping 3 shades of paint into the bottom of the jar (slightly watered down for easier coverage)..
you slowly spin and tip the jar until the paint runs from the bottom to the top of the jar.
Make sure to let it dry upside down.
When the jar is dry.. your ready to decorate again.
On this one I cricut cut the starburst piece to mod podge to the side.
On this jar I used 3D daisy flower stickers from Paper House.. and lots of them.
Some of them are on the side of the jar along with the title 3D sticker.
I had 1 prima floral sunflower to put into jar and it needed many more flowers... SO I
took pipe cleaners I added more 3D sticker s to fill in around the other ones.
What a great combo and mix to compliment my finished jar.

I really like these jars Bev. They are beautifully done. They give me so many ideas. I'm thinking of one with Christmas colours. :)
Fun! Another great use for those old jars.
Lovely jars! I didn't realize that the Plaid paint would stick to the sides of jars. I need to try this! (BL)
