Week #5 at Let's Get Sketchy is a Bingo Challenge

Week #5 at Let's Get Sketchy is always fun. We mix it up with lots of great things to try and share with you.

This month it's a Bingo Challenge.

I used the 2nd row: jounal strips, 3 photos, flowers, buttons and punch.

I am still enjoying working on a dance album for a friend. Really cool to take

someone's photos and put the pages together

Robin's Nest Creations

Hi everyone.. Bev here today. Sure hope you had a great Christmas and enjoyed your family time.
During this part of the season I love the house decorated inside and out.. and thought I'd share this page using photos of a few decorations at my home.
The  inside tree is celebrated by putting it up with a sleep over with the Gkids, the mantel lights up the room with a fire below to warm the room. Outside the door sits our friendly snowman
that welcomes our guest, family and friends.

This was such fun and decorative  papers to mix. I loved the navy with white snowflakes and  reindeers and the flip side was an awesome matching combination. The title I hand cut and matted. I matted and punched the tree photo. Great ribbon accent and some stickers and even punchinella helped finish off the page.

Next up is a Christmas Card to say Merry Christmas to all of you from all of us.

 Using some gold cardstock for a base I cut 3 strips of Robin's Nest Vellum Glitter Swirl paper.


 In the close ups you can see that I punched a border using the Kreaxions Punch #914 with fabulous poinsettia image. It was perfect.




and with these punches you always get a piece that falls away that is also a perfect border too.

I still had some fun decor photos from xmas to use and using Robin's Nest Winter Collection (Russia) was perfect. Using the left over scraps and pieces was great with multi layers and shaped designs.

So using lots of pieces I also fussy cut snowflakes, cut circular reindeer and Kreaxion Circle Cut even more circles to make fun clusters. Accents were some of the Reddy Creative Card Stickers 

and also Robin's Nest alpha letter stickers.

Next up is a Wedding Card.. did i say amazing wedding card. The layers and dimension to this is stunning.

I used the Reddy Creative Card Products ... starting with the base you just pop the many

layers that give it the fabulous dimension.

 The background is Vellum Glitter Swirl paper... it's such an elegant touch to an elegant card.

The sentiments are SRM stickers.

From the side you can see the layers.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to ALL

*SCRAPPER'S NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS* T'was the night before Christmas, And all through the home, Only one creature was stirring, A late night scrapper alone. While she cropped and she trimmed, Under her breath she was muttering, "He hid my darn Herma fix!" The poor wife was stuttering! When out on the lawn, There arose such a clatter, She sprang from her table, And dropper her Magic Matter. Away to the window, She flew like a flash, Thinking maybe it was UPS, Bringing more for her stash! But what to her wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature (die cut) sleigh and 8 (punchie) reindeer! With a little old driver So lively and quick, She knew right away, It was Jolee old St. Nick. He carried a sack, Filled to the brim, With paper packs, cardstock, And templates crammed in. There were punches, and stickers, And eyelets galore, There was even a Sizzix font Not yet in the stores!! He went quickly to work, Stowing it all under her tree, The wire, the fibers, And all Acid Free! "Those Whale Punches are heavy!" She heard him exclaim, Then he turned to his reindeer and called them by name: "On Buyer and Stasher, Puncher and Cropper. On Scrapper, on Matter, On Trimmer and Cutter." And he sprang to his sleigh But before he could leave, The woman yelled "STOP!" And pulled a camera from her sleeve. She snapped some quick photos For future keepsake, Thinking all the while, Of the layout she'd make! And she heard him exclaim, When she finally let him go, "Happy Scrapping to All" And to all, "HO HO HO!" Happy Scrapping

Christmas Wishes and a Wedding using Robin's Nest Products

Hi everyone.. Bev here today. First I'd like to share the news.. that I am returning for another term to the Robin's Nest amazing DT team.. and am excited to get the chance to create with the fabulous products... be sure to visit regularly so you can see what we all have to reveal for you.

So now Welcome to my Robin's Nest December post.
 Starting off I have this Season's Greeting card.

The centre core is a faux pinwheel and here is the link on how to make it.

I used Robin's Nest paper: Hunter Classic Glitter Cardstock with gold glitter and Sour Apple Classic Glitter to make the pinwheel... and my squares are 1" each.. went small to fit the card inside the doiley.

Up close you can see the fine details... the stamping, starform sticker. Gina's Design doily and stack up element (chipboard sentiment) along with Robin's Nest dew drops and paper.

Next up is another Christmas card.

The base on this card is Robin's Nest Sour Apple Classic, the Kreaxions Punched border is  

Hunter Classic Glitter Cardstock with gold glitter and the Strips is the  Vellum Glitter.

The Letters are the Robin's Nest Glitter Letters and the 

bottom link of Clear Diamond Dew Drops are a great base border.

The next project is a Season's Greeting card.

On the Robins' Nest White Glitter Snow Flake Cardstock base I ink stamped

some coloured snowflakes to add more colour. 

I used lots of matting for layers of colour...using Glittered Cardstock. 

I stamped the sentiment and matted again using Chipboard Glittered.

I added the bow tied ribbon and added some Winter Glitter Chipboard Snowflakes

then finished off with Metalic Dew Drops accents.

and next but not least I worked with our December's Sponsors Products.. 

 Reddy Creative Cards using the 3D Stanzbogen die cuts and Starform Stickers.

Mixing the sponsor's products with Robin's Nest Papers, stones and letters I 

created this Wedding Page.

What a fabulous mix of products to create this layout. 

The background and matted photo is Glittered Cardstock.

The accent paper behind the clustered accents is Vellum Silver Swirls.

In the closeups below I'll share some of the details.

This clustered section has Gina's Design Doily's, Ornamental Birdcages and Stack Up Elements

along with Reddy Creative Cards Starform Stickers and the 3D Stanzbogan Die Cut.

Amid the hearts are Clear Diamond Dew Drops.

This closeup shows the birdcage, Glitter Letters and Starform stickers 

and you can see the doodled stitches.

These last 2 close ups show the details of the Reddy Creative Card 3D Stanzbogen Die Cuts... amazing and beautiful layers and details.

Let's Get Sketchy

Good morning.. today's sketch at Let's Get Sketchy is by Me.. I really am loving creating fun colourful sketches and love to see what it inspires crafters to make.
I used this to create another dance page. The album is almost done and can give it to the mom by xmas to enjoy.

I had fun with black, white and grey tones... lots of layers, fun Kreaxions punched border, washi tape and felt flowers with a butterfly accent. Added a touch of bling, a wood title and some rubons.

Stuck Sketches GDT, Just Imagine Crafts

I am excited to be a GDT at Stuck Sketches today. I am honoured to play along with the fabulous
