Copics Challenge today at Simply Scrapping Crafts

May Spring Fling CROP at My Sketch World

HAPPY Spring!!! Happy National Scrapbooking Day!! Happy Mother's Day!! Happy EVERYTHING!!!

MSW's Spring Fling Crop will start on Saturday, May 1st! Challenges will be posted on 5/1(LO's), 5/2(cards), 5/7(LO's) and 5/8(Cards).

During the Crop....Lucy will be choosing a GUEST LAYOUT DESIGNER for June and July in Team B Group Who can it be????

Requirements:

Simply Scrapping Crafts Sketchy Saturdays in April

Kids as subjects make for the best photos.. too cute, fun and we all love them.
Also great layouts to save the many memories as they grow up together.

It was great to have friends visit in Florida. This layout is my

clan of friends that come to Florida on their yearly get away,

shopping spree and unwind holiday. They stay two whole weeks

and we thoroughly enjoy ourselves.... Fun in the Sun

Kristin's Progressive Monthly Challenge at My Sketch World

So we have been collecting items for weeks to complete Kristin's Progressive Layout Challenge: tulle, punch, gold, flowers with at least one homemade one, something to do with rain, a scraplift, and something recycled. At first I couldn't image what I would do with my collected items. The tulle started out by being purple - out of a Sally Ann 2nd had store..out of the garbage can no less... because the craft store was closed. From there I just kept collecting purple. The recycled piece had me stumped until I found the backing of the prima flowers package.
The wedding I helped decorate for was purple and I had great photos from the wedding. This will be a gift page for the bride.

Digital Delights .. Delightful Sketches

I have some of Digital Delights digital stamps... I have been using my copics to colour all my new stamps. The first card is using the sketch from Delightful Sketches. I had to flip it to accomodate the image. The 2nd one is just for showing another stamps I have been copic colouring from them.

My Sketch World Crop Weekend

My Sketch World April 15 Sketch Challenges

"All My Love" was an inspired oldie layout

with black n white photo using Lucy's great April 15th sketch.

Used lots of techniques with this one.

The "Sincerely" card used Lucy's Card Sketch below.

Copic art, stamped sentiment and inked borders with added bow and buttons.

Also did some piercing accents.

On this site the challenge is a recipe:

1 embossed pattern

2 patterned papers

3 pc. of bling

embossed yellow

orange dot and multi colour border punched patterned papers

pearls, stickles, and stones and accents

Used an image that i copic coloured and

a sticker for the title.... Thank YOU

Simply Scrapping Crafts Saturday Sketch Challenge

This was a fun layout using the fab sketch below.

Martha Stewart punches are beautiful, clustered some fun things butterfly, bow, buttons and gel squares, ribbon, stitching and acrylic word strips.

The other DT did and awesome job with this one.

PROJECT 365 @ My Sketch World

Project 365 is used to incourage us to post regularly up to date photos

and then post a finished layout using them.. we can do dayly, weekly

or monthly - whatever we choose. I joined the challenge so

I would force myself to get some current layouts

done rather than just older ones.

I also enjoy the aspect of this that challenges me to

take more photos... it is fun to do some non people layouts, using

birds, animals, scenery, sunsets, objects, and places etc.

The two layouts above were while in Florida - I followed the local

Eagles nesting and the waterfront pelicans and ducks.

Simply Scrapping Crafts April Challenges

Happiness was fun to make.. used colours that

complimented her photo.

Used mesh, flowers, pearls, rubons, stickers, stickles,

stitching and the sketch below.

The layout and card were done using the colour challenge below.
