Sketchy Saturday with ME at Wescrap

Today I host the Sketchy Saturday at We Scrap

and Ally is going to be my iTeam demonstrator today.

She has made an amazing, inspiring and creative layout with

lots of colourand fabulous accents.

Here is my take on my own sketch .. how fun is this!

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday

Welcome to Terrifically Thrilling Thursday. Today I used only Kreaxions Punch #305 but with no insert, insert A and insert C and used the fall away piece also.



The lower border used insert C for corners and insert A through the middle.
The centre border used no insert and the fall away piece is the upper border.

And now I am excited to share how I used the same punch with insert C to make this amazing flower which I have named
4 Corner Punched Flower

Shutterfly .... book of my layouts

I make lots of layouts BUT I give most of them to family for their albums which means my only records of them are from my blog here and my computer photos. I have been making Shutterfly layout memories books for my own records of my work. This is the 4th one and I can't wait until it arrives. They offered an embedded code when I submitted it so I thought I'd see if it works on my blog.

Party Time Tuesdays

Party Time Tuesdays digi image this week is from Robyn Fetish

and the theme is anything goes.

I used my nestibles for outer edging, used lots of layers, added a ribbon with a bow,

copic coloured and used a clear sticker sentiment.

Also at My Sketch World Marion's April Challenge was to "twitter"... use

a bird on your card.. this was perfect for this too so multi tasked again.

Also at WeScrap Ally's Let's Fly Away Challenge was perfect for the digi bird on the card.

We Scrap Sketchy Saturday and My Sketch World Challenge

Today's sketch at We Scrap is by Jen.

I played along with Sketchy Saturday and this is what I made with it.
Lots of fun elements and added extra circle photos instead of another element.

I also used this layout to fulfill another challenge requirement.

At My Sketch World Cindy's April Challenge is
to use Lyrics from a song in the Titling.
I titled this Happy Together and added journal tag
Together Forever Always....with the words from the song.
This layout is about 2 sister who have always have been close,
remain like this today as teenagers and will forever.

My Sketch World Challenges for April

Scarlett's Chalellenge was to make an ATC.

They really are hard.... trying to put so much on such a small space.

It was fun to play along though.

I had so much fun I made a 2nd one...

heat embossed the background on this one for texture and added sentiment and flower.

Jan's Challenge was to make a spring like tag... I used bright

fun bold colours, string and ribbon with accent pearls

and a sticker sentiment.

There are so many fun challenges at My Sketch World full of amazing inspriational projects.

theme is Mother's Day.

I used these fabulous tulips in a vase.

Perfect for any mother.

I used my nestibles to shape and background

the copic coloured digi.

I added some ribbon, bling, brads and

a sentiment on a patterned paper background.

April Showers.... bring May Flowers

At My Sketch World Ginni's Challenge was Showers.....

I chose rain showers.. the picture is from the kids when in Florida

when those daily afternoon showers just seem to pop up from no where.

Also at Just Imagine Crafts with Kreaxions Punches one of the challenges

for April was to use co-ordinating papers... I used Scenic Route for mine.

Close ups of Kreaxions Punch #923.. used both the punched piece and

the fall away piece.... also used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter for the circular ring which

I doodled around.

Any anyone that knows me .. knows I love double page layouts

so here it is all put together after multi tasking (my new thingto do) many challenges.

Also this week we have Paper Variety hosting a #'s Challenge. It is

perfect with the papers I used.

These 2 shots show the detail of the corners that were punched

and the doodling around the circle.

and the Just Imagine Crafts Kreaxions Punch #907 using insert

C and B on the corners
and no insert on the border......

this great layout is fabulous when all put together.
I added some chipboard, rubons, thickers title, AC brads,

and doodled around

the circle made with the Kreaxions Circle Cutter.

Sometimes you just need that

little added punch on your layout.
I know I have said this before but multi tasking is the only way

to get so many challenges done and it is

amazing how they compliment each other.

My Sketch World.. with Sue's Challenge

Sue's My Sketch World Challenge this month was to BEAT THIS.

She had an amazing multi photo page. Inspired by this I did a

collage of photos placed on strips of scraps

and added lots of fun embellishments.

I also had some fun with stitching .. using my Sew Easy Tool.

Multi tasking is so cool.. and I am trying to use it more and more.

We Scrap Sketch Saturday April 9th

Sue's Sketch is amazing... I loved it.. just a slight tilt to make it work perfectly for my photos at the cottage... lots of bright fun colours.. a journaling tag, chipboard titling, borders, flourishes and word strips left from the We Scrap April Kit were perfect. Be sure to stop on by and check what everyone is doing with the sketch.

We Scrap Challenge - Photo Inspiration

So at We Scrap I had my 1st Challenge as DT. I chose photo inspiration. The photo above was amazing and full of colour. Rich, bright and beautifully accented.

Here is my page using the colour pallette as inspiration. I used the greens and beige as the background and pulled the brighter colours to the front.

I also loved accenting with the pinks in the border and clustering. Prima pearls and bling, flourishes, flowers... even homemade rolled ribbon flower were eye catching accents.

Even a touch of hand stitching in the top right corner.

I even Kreaxion Punched in lower border using #918.

Multi tasking Challenges

Lucy's Sketch at My Sketch World was perfect for these photos of the Florida vegetation.

I made handmade rolled paper flowers with stickles accents.

I used the Kreaxions butterfly Punch # .....

The chipboard I copic coloured .... used lots of

Prima bling and some brads in 2 different sizes.

I made a floral banner and hung it on ribbon. The title was cricut cut.

I also used this layout for We Scrap .. Victoria's Photo Challenge.

Do a project with no people. It was also perfect for this layout.

We Scrap Sketchy Saturday 4/16

The large title and the double hearts was cut with cricut.

On this one I had some fun doodling and made the rolled ribbon flower.

I made 2 layouts with this fab sketch. Isn't it amazing how the same sketch can

evolve into 2 such different projects. That's why they are so versitile.
