Scrap Street Magazine for January 2011

I am so pleased to have a Layout in Scrap Street Magazine this month.
The call was to use multiple photos and I love these type of layouts. I use many photos on my pages and do doubles all the time.
I used Helen Croft's Sketch from Scrap A Little above to design my beautiful page.
Be sure to stop on over and check all the amazing and beautiful inspiring projects.

Scrap A Little

Helen at Scrap A Little posted her September sketch.
I had fun playing with this one.
This layout reminds me of the many summer days
when I watched the grandkids. We'd go to the park for lunch,
feed the animals, walk around the block
and we ate lots of popsicles together.

Scrap A Little

The sketch below by Helen with Scrap A Little made
the layout "Precious" so much fun to make...
lots of fun butterfly border using punch #901 from Just Imagine/Kreaxions
and cluster of buttons, bows, bling and more butterflies with Kreaxions punch #604.
Circle cutter made all the circles just so easy..
another Kreaxions Product.

I also used Helen's sketch to make the card using
BeeCeeArtistic Digital Image
and Kreaxions Punch #902 on the bottom border.

See what the rest of the DT made with this sketch

slightly time comsuming but well worth the effort.

The Challenge this month was a Birthday and use a #.

This is a special birthday because the actual day is in December. She however saved her party until the next summer at the cottage where all her friends could sleepover and enjoy her favourite place. Boating, swimming, trampolines and tubing all added to the fun... this is a birthday to remember.
PS.. my computer has been out for a week with a virus.. getting fixed soon i hope... will be back soon with some great layouts and fun things to share.

Scrap A Little REVEAL JAN 01, 2010

The January challenge was a color challenge:
You had to use pink, blue and brown. You were allowed to use other colors too, but those three have to be predominant.
The twist for the challenge is to use the word "NEW" in the title.
AND HERE IS MINE:

The colours are great together... actually quite rich looking with a soft touch.
I used an origami xmas tree with lots of bling and pearls. Cricut cut the ornaments, presents and the title. Distressed and used ink, border punched and added few brads. I used the sewing machine to border the whole page and hand stitched in the cluster of ornaments. I snuck the word NEW in the sub title on the bottom. I love scrapping but the added excitement of little sneak peaks and a big reveal every month is going to be fun.
This is one of Helen's Sketches that I used.. it was perfect for my layout.
