I used the Prairie Fairy Design digital image

as they were the sponsor.

Digital Images.. my first to share and others

My first digital image... dear friend bear

My son's first image.. kid krayon

and my grand daugher's first image... sox monkey

My family has some artistic talent.

We thought it would be fun

to create some our own digital images

so I could make some cards.

For now it's a family project that is fun.

It could be more but that would be in the future.

Copic colouring is addictive.

Even my mom is now colouring and

making cards at age 79. She loves it as much

as I do... she has no interest in layouts just cards and

especially copic colouring.

I introduced her to this while she spent

time with me in Florida for two weeks.

That's all it took. Below although it is a small image are

some of my mom's cards. She is doing fabulous.

Some of my dear friends who use digital images and copics are going to be adding their cards with my images... hope you enjoy them. Comments will be welcomed.

Sketchy Saturday May 22, 2010 & altered layout

Just got the news that I won $ towards digital images.

I ordered some fabulous new digital images...

from Michelle Perkett. Thanks for the great challenge

and I do plan to play along again.

Michelle Perkett Studios has a challenge to use ribbon/lace and circles.. and one of her images.

I had just done this layout...so with a little additions I added a lace border, circle lace flower with gem stone and a ribbon bow... and there are circle buttons... and the image is one of Michelle's.

I thought it would be fun to share with her a layout instead of a card.

Simply Scrapping Sketchy Saturday. This layout was fun. Using these photos was perfect to use the freebie image from Michelle... bear in hands. Lots of layers, stitching, all around punched borders, and lots of journaling around outer 3 edges.

Also this week we had Colour Challenge Thursday.

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday

OMG Oh my Gosh... I forgot my layout using Shelly's Images 2 digital images... the flip flops border with title and the sunshine.
And as per the challenge for TTT WHITE PAPER ONLY.... NO coloured paper or patterned paper.
There are still so many things and techniques to use and still get a fabulous card or layout.
Hope my attached layout inspires you and you attempt my challenge.

Rolled Paper Technique

I made another card using rolled paper technique and the image is from Shelly's Images "ROOSTER"



This is part of my Technique Tuesday as DT leader and my flower video tutorial was shared with all her members too.
I used my sample layout that had both techniques on one layout.

Prairie Paper & Ink with Amy Rysary

This card was made using the sketch over at Prairie Paper & Ink. I had some fun with bright reds, polka dots.... some zigzag stitching, little doodling and some stones. Copic coloured the image and layer mounted it.

Technique Tuesday with Shelly's Images

Good morning.. today is my DT lead at Shelly's Images for Technique Tuesday.
All these new roles that allow me free rein to display my ideas. It is fantastic but at the same time lots of responsibilities to come up with something all you amazing scrappers want to see. I thought I'd share today a new technique so simple but new to me.... and again I shared my flower video tutorial.

Announcment:DT Blog Leader at Shelly's Images

Shelly's Images is a fairly new blog. Shelly designs images. As part of her DT team we use her images on our projects. Most of the time they are on cards. I venture out of my box and have been putting some of them on layouts. Shelly loves that.
This week is my debut as DT Blog Leader for the week.
I get to reveal a new image on Marvelous Monday, teach a technique on Technique Tuesday and post a challenge on Terrifically Thrilling Thursday. All of this is new to me but looks like a fun week. I supplied the fall family photos to the digital team with ScrapbookNewsandReview... the above are the digital layouts in the online magazine... it was back in October but had to keep it secret and then couldn't post until 2 months after it ran. Time got away from me so here it is now....this was so exciting. Thought I would share this with you. I plan to make a layout of their layouts to have a keepsake of my 1st ever online publishing.

I used the Terrifically Thrilling Thursday Sketch from last week... on today's card using the newest of Shelly's Images from Marvelous Monday reveal today..... the TULIP. Both together made a fabulous looking card... great sketch and great image. Be sure to check out her images at Shelly's Store.

My Sketch World Alice in Wonderland Challenge with Scarlett

I sketched this from a online picture ... copic coloured and made the card.. Scarlett had a list of elements like clock, key, caterpillar, mushroom, cat, Alice etc.. it was alot of fun. Be sure to check out all the other projects over at My Sketch World... Spring Fling month long crop.
