Amazing Card kits can be used to create Layout too.

So I have been playing with the  Creative Escape Papercrafting February Fully Loaded Kit.... made specifically for cards.... but thought I'd share some ways to use these kits to also make some layouts. 

The first page is my eldest Grand Daughters and myself spending a day together.

The next page is photos from the McKee Botanical Gardens in Vero Beach, Florida.

Both these page started with the small card papers but they were reworked onto a 12x12 layout base  and used lots of paper accents, the stamp set and the dies from the card kit. 

Both turned out amazing and I love them.

February 2018 Fully Loaded Kit

The Rubber Buggy project using Blue Fern Studios Amber and Apricot Collection

Creating with Blue Fern Studios Amber & Apricot Collection from The Rubber Buggy was fabulous. What amazing prints, colours....all so rich and elegant. The mix and match of papers is perfect for any project. Be sure to visit the STORE to view this collection and so many more fabulous products. 

Starting with the background print page and pulling an accenting base for photos I then used a rustic coloured print to mat both photos. I pulled and inked and copic coloured some fall chipboards along with some titles.

In the close ups you get a better view of the details. Chipboards placed along with some flair buttons, some stickers and a rub on.

Creative Embellishments and You Color my World

Welcome to Creative Embellishments blog post today. I am sharing a fabulous fun photo of my youngest grand daughter Jules who loves to create with me.... and I love sharing this time with her too. She is amazing talented and so creative. On this page she is canvas paint pouring.

I started this page by stamping in the background first.

 

I then cut lots of Amber & Apricot Collection paper to form layers of great prints and colours to base my photos. One photo is matted. All edges are inked.

I decided to leave the chipboards on this page naked. The addition of natural colour was perfect blend to the page.

I cut the main panel and added the other piece on the lower corner.

In this section you can see a flower, a cool flair button, a ribbon accent and some buttons glued on top of swirled thread. 

The close up above shows the floral cluster, background panel, title, flair button and lots of layers of paper.

The Rubber Buggy using lots of Heartfelt Creations products

The Rubber Buggy has amazing products which include so many from Heartfelt Creations. For this project I am trying to use the full stamp set to create the scene for the front of my card.

For this card I stamped a full background to copic colour. ... and also stamped the extra pieces to pop up and give 3D look in front to the background scene.

Here is the final layout of the scene with extra tree and bird on the branch. I also added the  puffy sentiment Best Friend.

Inside the card I used the Sugar Hollow paper collection papers and also added the matted stamped sentiment as an accent.
