The Rubber Buggy using 49 and Market products and Creative Inspiration Sketch

My McKee Garden page is for The Rubber Buggy Blog today. I used photos of me in the beautiful surroundings. Using 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Collection along with Wings and Things die cut Embellishments plus the Creative Inspiration Monday sketch for today.

Starting this page I rounded the corners on my photo.

... and circle cut the other photos.

Most of the accents on this page are from 49 and Market Wings and Things die cut Embellishments. Lots of butterflies and flowers in this collection and they were perfect for the colouring of photo and paper.

I only added a few other accents like some bling border and gold sparkle alpha letters.

Here is the central section with the amazing circular floral frame... and the bead border.

Creative Embellishments Sports Accents Ideas

Hi ... today at Creative Embellishments I am sharing a sports page with multi action field hockey photos all on 1 page. Great paper from Paper House along with the amazing chipboards from Creative Embellishments makes for the best combo sports page ever.... and so many available sport lines makes creating all these sport pages awesome.

Supply List:
Creative Embellishment Products
Paper: Paper House Field Hockey
Other: copics, Tim Holtz distress ink, cardstock

Using these super chunky alphabet letters and #'s make doing a subtitle so easy... add the players #number and a team cheer  in a cluster is perfect.... for so many different sports.

Sometimes when you are creating and don't have the perfect accents you can dig into your stash and find some shapes that would be perfect on your projects. With multi action photos I wanted the action to pop... so these rectangle shapes copic coloured did just that.

Different size rectangles in this collection make choices the right shape and size to fit the action in the photos so easy.

Here is another sports page... but this time it's Lacrosse ... more pages to capture the moments. The paper is another from Paper House and the stamping and chipboard is from Creative Embellishments.

To showcase the photos on this one I used the background meshed diamond panel. It is perfect. Below the photos and above the 3D title sticker I added a grungy Distressed corner stamp from Creative Embellishments.

I used some of the Lacrosse Paper House stickers to accent this sports page. In the background you can see some white signo gel pen doodling and also some sew easy ink roller stitches.

The Rubber Buggy Sept 1st Challenge #1 Sketches

HI... OMG it's so exciting. The Rubber Buggy has restarted their amazing Challenge Blog.
There will be challenges set up for the 1st and 15th of each month. We will have Sketches and mixed themed challenges for you to play along with.  To start us off I am sharing my projects using both sketches in the Challenge #1.
Today I am sharing the details of my projects for the 1st Challenge on The Rubber Buggy Blog. Above is my finished page using the sketch below.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products
Paper: Prima Marketing Love Clippings A4 Collection Kit,
Flowers: 49 and Market Flowers
Ink: Tim Holtz distress ink
Markers: Copic markers
Chipboards:Creative Embellishments Heart Butterflies set 2, Spiderweb Panel, word border
Stamp: Creative Embellishments Distressed corner

This one I started with pulling lots of papers to match the photo.

I grabbed lots of fun accents, flowers and brads to trim this page. In this photo you can see a little of the paint splatter in the background using the colours from the papers.

I followed the main section of the sketch at this point... matted the photo and add the inked corner rounded strips and layered things.

I used lots of sew easy ink roller accents on this page. I used lots of inked edges to give depth and dimension.

For my 2nd project from the challenge I used the card sketch. I am using the same products  from the Prima Marketing Love Clippings A4 Collection Kit. So many amazing coordinating pieces for any project.

Be sure to play along and add your creation to the inlinkz so we can visit and comment on your projects.
We will have monthly winners and also will award the top 3 every month too with a badge.
Be sure to visit daily as the DT share projects to inspire you and mark your calendar for the 15th when our 2nd challenge will be posted.

Thanks for joining us on this new adventure.

Sept 1st Creative Embellishments Challenge

hi... OMG it's September already. So to start off the month I am sharing the Creative Embellishments Challenge for the month.

I was inspired by some of the colours, letters and #'s and was drawn to the back to school idea. I used one of my very own Creative Inspiration sketches to start the background paper strips and circle. I used 2 different Creative Embellishment stamps - Distressed Number Stamp,  Binary Stamp and then used this amazing Alphabet Frame chippie set with crayons, glue and eraser along with the fabulous Adventure Word Set for Titles.  I copic coloured them. I finished this off with some brads and it's all done with a great first day back to school photo.

In the close ups i'll share some details..... what fun design to work with . Used the background strips and the circle from the sketch to start this one.

All the great chipboards are copic coloured and look amazing.

The alphabet frame is copic coloured but with great mix of colours all around.

The fun large brads added dimension and a sparkle to the page. Notice the stamping in the background of this section.

Used the distressed Stamp set in this section.

Thanks for stopping by today... hope to see you again soon.
