Robin's Nest and Family

Today at Robin's Nest I am thrilled to share a page with our 4 awesome grand children. They have grown up so fast... and they are turning into fabulous young adults.
Using Robin's Nest Products and the Swirlydoos Sketch (below) I created this great Family page.

Supply List:
Robin's Nest Products
Paper: Mocha Daisy Cardstock, Brown Rope Glitter, Brick Glitter, Red Snowflake CS
Accents: Pink Glitter &Gerber Stickers, Cherry Kisses Archival Seeds, Doillie
Chipboard: Rosy Fly
Ribbon: Rosy Ribbon
Dew Drops: Diamond shape
Other: Punch: Ek Success, Paint, rubon, sew easy ink roller, Ginis's Design doily
Sketch: Swirlydoos

Instructions:
1. Start by pulling our your papers, accents and photo(s).
2. If using a sketch get it out.
3. Using the sketch I cut all the base pieces for the background. In these close ups you can get a better view of the details. I  used the main circle and the strip to base the background. Fun layers and different shapes create a great background with depth, texture and variety.  Some are punched and some thin strips. After putting the layers together I then splattered with paint using a few colours that matched the papers.

4. In this section you can view the next steps. I double matted the photo and positioned it to determine the rest of the accents. The great alpha sticker title was made adding the stickers to a mat, I added the rubon word "love". I added the great ribbon trim, great doilies clustered and more ribbon stapled onto page on left side. Using the sew easy ink roller you can view the zig zag stitches around the circle.

5. On this section you can see the diamond dew drops bordering the punched strip and on the right side splattered about in the background splatter are the Archival Seeds. In the upper left corner is the punched border with mat and the added chipboard balloon.

What a great family page full of loving memories.. and all hand made by me for them.
Thanks for joining me today.

Feeling Sketchy - Spread your Wings and Fly

Today at Feeling Sketchy we are using the sketch below to create and inspire our projects.
Above is my finished card using Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower Collection from my DT for The Rubber Buggy. The colours are rich and bold with amazing images and sentiments. I added some plain cardstock strips and wrapped it with twine to finish it off. Layers and matting gives the card great depth and texture.

Thanks for joining me today. Pop on over to the Feeling Sketchy blog where you can view the other DT reveals using the sketch.
