Card using lots of Dies from The Rubber Buggy

HI...so how are you today? I am wonderful. At The Rubber Buggy I am sharing a card made using lots of dies. I am using my Big Shot Express machine lots now that I have it.... so much easier to cut with electric machine. I have been making friends cards as you never have enough of them and it's so easy to get dies that are fun for this occasion.... I am mixing these up but still love the finished project.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products
Paper:  Blue Fern Studios Wanderlust Collection
Other: Whisker Graphics tags, sticker and twine, cardstock, brads

For this one I am using Whisker Graphics tag and die cutting to fit it.

It looks great in just plain black die cut cardstock.

I added some pieces matted and fussy cut while other are single cut. I added a super small twine tied bow to the tag and matted it also.

I added lots of matting in the background and a few brads along with a sticker. It looks great.

Thanks for stopping by.... hope to see you soon.

Merry Christmas Gift Card Holder using Creative Escape Papercrafting Christmas Kit fully loaded

hi... so hope you had a great weekend and adjusted to the time change? This fun card is a gift card holder and I am sharing the  details on how to make it. I used just the tree die and stamped and die cut the deer image along with mix and match papers for the kit. I am still using the Christmas Kit fully loaded from Creative Escape Papercrafting. Each card is different and I will do individual blog posts sharing the how to info so you can make them too. Be sure to visit daily when I do another one.

We all can use gift card holders for Christmas and many other occasions throughout the year ... and this one is an easy style everyone can make.

Description
The Fully Loaded Christmas
Kit lives up to its name.  It starts with a set of 6 stamps with 4
matching dies.  There are 18 sheets of 6.5″ x 6.5″ specialty paper (some
of which are foiled).  It comes with a full 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of acetate and
0.5 oz of Lawn Fawn chunky glitter – a perfect combination for shaker
cards!  There’s also a bottle of Liquid Mercury Nuvo drops and a bunch of
other goodies to give you an abundance of card making options.
The kit includes:
1 “Traditional Christmas” stamp/die set from Kaisercraft
1 0.5 oz jar of Lawn Fawn chunky glitter
1 Bottle of Nuvo Liquid Mercury Crystal Drops (1 fl oz)
18 Sheets of 6.5″ x 6.5″ specialty paper from the Kaisercraft “Frosted” collection
1 12″ x 12″ cut apart sheet from the Kaisercraft “Frosted” collection
1 Bottle of Ranger Glossy Accents (0.5 fl oz)
1 Sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ acetate
3 Sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ white card stock
1 Sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ light gray card stock
1 Sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ navy blue card stock
1 Sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ powder blue card stock
1 Sequins mix featuring Studio Katia (approx. 1.5 tsp)
1 Snowflake/gem mix featuring Studia Katia gems
1.5 yards of purple sheer ribbon
1.5 yards of blue sheer ribbon
1.5 yards of silver/gray ribbon
1.5 yards of gold twine
40 Blue 3 mm adhesive gems
24 Clear 6 mm adhesive gems
9 mini wooden embellishments
1 assorted ephemera pack (contents may vary)
*Note:      12″ x 12″ sheet is cut into separate pieces for shipment

So to make this easy... take a premade card base (or make your own.) At the bottom back side at about 1/2"  fold up for a pouch/ pocket to hold the gift card. Close the front of the card and carefully cut off the excess to accommodate where our fold was.

Now I am using blue print paper so I have texture and stamping the deer.

I then die cut out the deer.

I now took a few other prints from kit to make the lighter background base. I die cut out the tree using the paper with some glitter on it. Using another accent die I cut the corner accent piece. From the kit I also hand cut and matted the sentiment image title. With this kit you have so many possibilities to mix and match chose your own pieces that jump out at you.
I tied a small bow using ribbon from the kit.

On this photo I now sharing my proposed layout of the pieces.

Now removing them I start gluing from the bottom moving forward to the front.

I decided to stamp the sentiment.... in the open space.

The card is all back together again.. and I added some of the gem stones from the kit.

In the close ups you can see the details better and the papers too.

Using print blue paper and then stamping it give some cool looking texture to the deer.

Adding layers of matting to the image/ words add great depth and colours.

Inside the panel I glued the side ends closed to hold the pocket firm to secure the gift card.
I also added a stamped sentiment to inside the card  and added a matted border for trim.

Holly Jolly Christmas using Creative Escape Papercrafting Christmas Kit fully loaded

OK I am sharing the details on this card today that I used just the tree die with small amounts of kit paper and some cardstock. I am still using the Christmas Kit fully loaded from Creative Escape Papercrafting. Each card is different and I have been doing individual blog posts sharing the how to info so you can make them too. Be sure to visit daily when I do another one.

For this card I thought it would be fun to play with the Kaisercraft die and some of the fun print papers from this collection. Add some depth and dimension with matting and the pop of colour.

The kit includes:
1 “Traditional Christmas” stamp/die set from Kaisercraft

1 0.5 oz jar of Lawn Fawn chunky glitter

1 Bottle of Nuvo Liquid Mercury Crystal Drops (1 fl oz)

18 Sheets of 6.5″ x 6.5″ specialty paper from the Kaisercraft “Frosted” collection

1 12″ x 12″ cut apart sheet from the Kaisercraft “Frosted” collection

1 Bottle of Ranger Glossy Accents (0.5 fl oz)

1 Sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ acetate

3 Sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ white card stock

1 Sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ light gray card stock

1 Sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ navy blue card stock

1 Sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ powder blue card stock

1 Sequins mix featuring Studio Katia (approx. 1.5 tsp)

1 Snowflake/gem mix featuring Studia Katia gems

1.5 yards of purple sheer ribbon

1.5 yards of blue sheer ribbon

1.5 yards of silver/gray ribbon

1.5 yards of gold twine
40 Blue 3 mm adhesive gems
24 Clear 6 mm adhesive gems
9 mini wooden embellishments

1 assorted ephemera pack (contents may vary)

*Note:      12″ x 12″ sheet is cut into separate pieces for shipment

To start this card I pulled together all the pieces starting with the fabulous fun  prints... I chose the sentiment Wishing you a Holly Jolly Christmas and also the great black n white print. Using the general size of the card base I estimated the part of the print that would fit my needs the best.

Following the above photo you can see the fussy cut section of the print and the sentiment blog. I inked the edges on the print and for the Sentiment I matted a few times to add more colour.

Using just the tree die cut I used black cardstock for a contrasting colour to showcase the tree image.

In this section you can see the matted border. All the inking and gold glitter cardstock looked perfect with the muted papers I chose. The tree was placed in the background and I am pleased with the finished card design.
This is one of the simpler cards but it looks awesome.... not every card has to be difficult.

For this card I stamped using black ink on the left side of the base cardstock. I then die cut it out.
You then flip it over which puts the negative of die cut to the right side.
Matt the background so it fills the empty die cut space.
With the stamped die cut tree I now applied glossy accents unevenly spread all over the image. Then using Lawn Fawn chunky glitter from the kit I sprinkled it.

Working with the black, white and cream colour palette I matted the strip of foil look paper, cut a sentiment square with image from the accent paper sheet and matted it too.

Using the Sew Easy ink roller i added some stitch line which I then added Nuvo glitter crystal drops for added touch of glitter and colour.

This is a very simple easy card with lots of mats for colour and great use of stamp and die cut tree images with just a touch of kit paper.... it's perfect.

Lots of Kaisercraft Stamp/ Die cutting on my Creative Escape Papercrafting Project

OMG I am super excited to share the details to all the fabulous cards I was able to make using the Christmas Kit fully loaded from Creative Escape Papercrafting. Each card is different and I will do individual blog posts sharing the how to info so you can make them too.
For this card I thought it would be fun to play with the Kaisercraft stamp/die set to create a card.

24 Clear 6 mm adhesive gems
9 mini wooden embellishments
1 assorted ephemera pack (contents may vary)
*Note: 12″ x 12″ sheet is cut into separate pieces for shipment

To create this card I started by laying out and stamping the base. With the size base cut I used the small Misti to do the stamping. The tree is stamped in 2 shades of green for a textured look. The gifts and Sentiment are positioned where I wanted them.

I then stamped on different papers from the kit the presents.... and then die cut them out.

I wanted to layer the gifts with different colours and texture.

After hand cutting the single gift out of each of the die cuts ... they are ready to glue on top of the original base.

Using just the back base for the back right gift... i added the fussy cut white looking gift and glued on flat ... so easy. The last forward gift I foam popped up for depth.

I added a musical blue glitter sheet background layer, cut more background pieces and colours for layering.

I tied a cute small bow.

I added some brads and this card is done... so cute simple and used lots of stamping/ die cutting.

Thanks for stopping by... this is just the second  of 10 cards I will be sharing ....so hope you'll come back often to see the others.
