Hello my name is Bev Code. I am so excited to part of the team as Tutorial Video Designer. I have been following Lucy and My Sketch World since Sept 2009, in Jan. 2010 I was GDT and I have been with her and the members of My Sketch World as DT since Feb. 2010 and love it. This is my home away from home where i share my creations using friends and family in my photos. My husband, 2 boys and families (my 4 grand kids) all support my addiction to scrapping and know that they will have memories to share with those to follow in the pages that I create for them. Sure hope you'll join us .. can't wait to see what you'll create and share with us too.

Here is the April 1st sketch from My Sketch World
Here is my example using the sketch:

I used a photo from 1924 when Nana was just the baby in the carriage. These old photos are so precious as part of our heritage.

Thanks for being here and now its time to head to MSW Blog

Hi everyone.. so over at Scrapbook Stamp Society we are blog hopping again
and using the theme "anything but square".
With that in mind I thought it would be fun to
use my newest Spellbinder Nestibilities called " curved rectangles".
Used them to add some extra layers of colour and texture with embossing too.
I copic coloured the bracket accents, hand made the twine butterfly,
added a handmade layered sentiment, some doodling and dot accents in the corners.

Supply List:
Paper: Momenta PA 2354
Frames: Spellbinders Nestibilities
Pens: Signo, Staedtler
Other: chipboard, twine

Lots to Share on this layout.....

This page above is a lift from My Scraps and More
with the March theme
"Let's Lift It".
The sample below was from October Afternoon Blog.

This close up shows the Punching detail I used on the border and the doiley.
The border is Kreaxions Punch # 309 which I matted a few times for pop
and the fall away piece is in top right corner.

The doiley is made using the star template
and Kreaxions Punch #917 with insert A
and I matted it and doodled with white Signo gel pen.

Also I used "in my Prayers" digi by Sherri Baldy
which I copic coloured, cut and embossed using
Spellbinders Nestibilities which I layered for pop also.

I have been trying to use some of my digis and stamps on
my pages to get more use out of them.
This one was perfect with the photo and the title.

Scrapbook Challenges, Voting starts Thursday-Friday this week

Hi everyone... well it's that time again. Here is my layout for
week #2 of March Madness at Scrapbook Challenges.
Our challenge was to make a monochromatic page using the
colour that is displayed in our name signature on the forum and mine is RED.
This is a photo of my 2 oldest grand daughters the day of the younger
ones graduation from grade 8. They grow up far too fast and
way to beautiful and the red dress in the photo
was perfect for this challenge.

I had great fun with this one..
monochromatic with transparency, stamping, homemade button flowers, layered and stickles flowers, bling, 3 piece butterfly, banner, doodling, embroidery stitched accents, layered tag, borders of ribbon and fussy lace, copic coloured chipboard, accent pins,
glossy accented chipboard title...

Sure hope you love it
and be sure to come back again this week
to PLEASE VOTE FOR ME.
Your support was over whelming last week
and I am so grateful to all my friends
that voted.
Voting is open Thursday 12:01am until Friday 11:59pm
with the winners announced on Saturday.
(sorry for the confusion with the time zones-
hopefully it will be easier this week now that
we have the drill down.)
I am traveling home and will not be available to the internet so
please mark your calendars BUT I will remind you with
blog posts that are on a timer and I am
around Friday for sure.

Below are the close up shots showing the details of my page.

JUST for FUN with Momenta

So this fun scenery layout page was done just for fun.
Really cute images with this paper so had to play
around and fussy cut and pop some for depth.
I added some crochet flowers to the ones in the paper for a cluster.
Lots of fun things in the sky, added popped balloon, rays to the sunshine,
floated some clouds and the kite is too cute and coloured.
I love to doodle and things like brads, stickles, buttons and twine were perfect.
Since joining the Momenta D-Lite team I have been using lots of their product
and this page is from their line.

Supply List:
Paper: Momenta PA 2333, CS PA 0659
Sticker Accents: Momenta ST 1772, ST 1770, ST 4491, ST 2078
Ink: colorbox
Pen: Signo
