Multi Tasking with the best products

This month Scrappin Madges Embellishment Kit for September had some

super fun accents that suited the paper and sketch perfectly. (below)
This fun page started with the base paper from Paper House called Love Birds P-0606

I then followed the Let's Get Sketchy Magazine Sketch Challenge for issue #5 (below)...

and shared this piece as my LGS week #5 selfie page.

In the close ups I will share the great sections to my page.

In this section the washi tape top border pulls more black into the page.

The double banner is cut from a 2nd sheet, inked and popped up on top of base paper.

The bird cage is double mounted also... and there are a few stitched circles over 

the span of the page... just a touch more of black.

Super fun chipboard title with fun stickers, and alpha to create a great cluster

with some more stitched circles.

Super cute small lower edge cluster.

Up Next I have a card to share.

This page above is the celebration on my only Grand Son's 1st birthday with family 

and friends who were there to share in his day. It also is his Grandpa's birthday too. 

The two of them have this fun thing going on. 

The GS says it's now his birthday as Papa has had it long enough 

while Papa says it's his first because he's had it longer.

I also used this month's sketch from Sketches in Thyme to create this page.

Scrappin Madges Embellishment Kit June DT reveal

Welcome to this months reveal of Scrappin' Madges Embellishment Kit

above is my finished page.. and below is the KIT pieces that I used.

This close up hightlights stencil masked with paint, misting and mask again

with gesso. Then add sequins.

The title is a mix of rubon stickers and glitter stickers.

The chalkboard accent is written on using a Signo white gel pen.

The cute wood veneers  are for travel and vacation mode.

Here is the stenciled painted corner with added sequins and stones.

This corner highlights a lacey ribbon banner and a homemade ribbon flower clustered

with some fun tiny wood veneers.

This upper corner has SRM sticker titling and shows the many layers

some with some stitching and brad accents.

More fun layers, one piece embossed with a touch of ink, fabulous 

addition of rounds of twine and stones.

Linnie Bloom and "Amazing" page

This is my 2nd post this month revealing for Linnie Bloom products.

This "Amazing" layout boasts the canvas shapes. 

I used the bird and the banner pieces which I used misting and paint dauber on to colour them.

Also behind the title I used the burlap.

Scrappin' Madges Embellishment Kits.. amazing

Welcome to our monthly reveal of Scrappin' Madges Embellishment Kit.

Above is a fabulous mix of embellishments and below is the cards I made using them.

With such a great mix it is so easy to create.

This card has a post card matted, a stamped sentiment, fun washi tape,

 twine, brads and an added metal accent.

This fun card boasts the another post card base matted, added some fun washi tape, stickers, candi mini dots, fab stamped sentiment, with some additional corrugated accent, stick pin, creative embellishment hearts border and scalloped border.

This last card using the post card matted again, washi tape, matted sentiment, 

candi mini dots, twine, stick pin and tag with a brad.

I love that the kits come with so many pieces that can be altered to make a fun mix of cards.. each one different and unique in it's own way.

Lots of close up views to see the details better.

This shows the background work up close.and the rubons, the great

title and part of the stamped wording.

It's hard to see but I put a vellum layer behind the photo.

The doily is inked with the smaller colorbox pods. The upper corner has an outlined and 

doodle stitched accents.

Behind the photo is the embossed ink section, some fussy cutting around the flowers to

slip the layers and photo behind... also the actual real stitching is more visual too.

Up next is a fun card.. lots of accents and layers... and a touch of doodling.

Now for a few close ups to see details.

Lots of fun layers, clusters, accents and it shows the  fun inked background and

a row of SRM sticker stitches.

Great cluster here with lots of texture. Corrugation, burlap, cork, a transparency, tag, stick pin, 

stamping, twine and other accents make it so eye appealing.. but never take away from the photos.

Great title sticker, a fun border and a cute burlap floral.

To balance things out this side has more accents, borders to continue the flow across the page.
