Cottage Fun and Scrap Friends colour challenge

Scrap Friends had a fabulous fun colour challenge #8.



Thought I'd play along and while I was at it I used a previous sketch that I had never used before. I used Fancy Pants Summer Soul.. it was perfect for my Cottage Fun page.

 In the close ups you can see some of the fun clusters. In the upper corner I use a roller stamp in the background and added some layers of paper, stitching and stickles for sparkle.

In this lower right section I fussy cut and added some stickles. The soaking up the sun was custom cut and matted and more stickles appied.

You can see the fun banner with base twine added and some stitching, Lots of roller stamping and the thin stickers formed the title.

A Daddy and his Girls

Hi everyone.. I am home... and so excited too that the outdoor lights are up and working.
This weekend it is time to put up the tree inside and the indoor decorations too.

It's beginning to look alot like xmas... so happy.

Today I have a sketch and page to share with you using  Fancy Pants line....

"it's the little things"

Here is a daddy and his little girls. It was perfect using just enough dark
 masculine colours and adding a pop of colour, flowers and some birds too.
I used ripping and distressing with inked edges. Splattered some paint on it and
 used some fun layers. I punched a scalloped shape, added a circular piece
of wire, added some brads, stitiched on the page, used some Fancy Pants accents
and rubons and cut out some great journal strips from the paper.

 In each close up you can view some of the fine details.

Only a splatter of paint, some journaling tags, inked edges,

some rubons and some machine stitching.

This photo clearly shows the paint splatter, some brushed on paint

 across the top edge and some fun Fancy Pants accents in the title section.

This section shows up close the paint with some brush strokes,
the added brads and the stitching.
