JnW Crafts Fabulous Fall accent

JnW Crafts  project today is a fabuluos fun fall accent.
I used the cupcake template and converted it
to an acorn... and I used both pieces for this project.

I started by using Alcohol inks on the background base. A great mix of many colours
spread over the grains of wood soaked in perfectly.
On the acorn template itself I changed the colours to a collection of darker colours.
To make the top of the accorn more textured I add some gesso and added more colouring.
I put black ink on outer edge of the acorn and also added some signo white gel pen to
make some line between the 2 sections of the acorn.

The lower holes were great for the large size brads while the upper hole strung with
ribbon and knots tied made the hanger for the fall accent.
The back of the wood was matted with darkbrown cardstock which I
then doodled the acorn shape and design using the Signo white gel pen.

Sticker accents are from Paper House Fall Collection and they
trimmed the accent perfectly. They added depth and texure to the finished project.

JnW Crafts - Smile Tag

I used the JnW Crafts templates to make my tag today.
The larger wood template was used to trace the jar on right on the base tag.
I then drew the lid marks using Staedtler black pen and then used StazOn ink
to stamp on the circle accents.

The smaller glass jar template was used to trace on the Paper House PaperPP-0612 and hand cut
out the jar on the left. The lid marks were drawn on it and the fun cute
tag was cut, stamped on, doodled stitching added and tied with twine to the jar.
The upper part of tag was stamped with butterfly, matted and doodle stitching to
make a border accent. The Smile sentiment is stamped plus butterflies and flower and
matted with scallopped edges. Add some ribbons tied through the loop and you have the cutest tag.

JnW Crafts

Welcome to JnW Crafts today. Halloween card is perfect for this time of year and month.

Using this ornament template I drew my pumpkins onto black cardstock. I was looking
for the chalkboard effect... then using signo white gel pen you draw the faces.
So easy but what a cute card
Background is a ripped piece of paper stamped for texture and demension.
The webs with spiders are cricut cut and glued on.
Add some ink on paper to soften the colour and last is the SRM
side border stickers and the sentiment.

JnW Crafts and another fun shaped template

Today at JnW Crafts I made this cool card using the corset template to create the fun
cool image by tracing it onto paper and hand cutting.
I then added accents, inked the background, added some twine and sentiment journaling tags..
a cute flower cluster and it's done. I added stickles to the
lacey trimmed area for sparkle.

The close up shows just a bit more detail. I used a Staedtler black pen to
outline and detail some sections. The flourishes are stickers to add more depth and colour.

JnW Craffs

JnW Crafts is a small town, family run business that creates unique templates and embellishments from wood and acrylic mediums. The different mediums allow more options for you the consumer. And we all want more options, right?

I am honoured to be on the DT and enjoy sharing projects made using
these fun templates for either tracing, or using the positive
and negative of the wood templates.

This card started with background paint splatter, a cricut
cut sentiment and web borders and a spider.
I used the template to trace the bat. Then wanting it to have 3D dimension
I variegate folded it starting from the centre out the wings.
Apply glue to the lower edge and apply to card.
Just a touch of stickles on the bat and the card is done.
Visit the store to view this and many other fabulous images in wood and acrylic.
This bat template is available in the store.

JnW Crafts and an Acrylic Glass Jar template

Hi.. back again with another new product from JnW Crafts.
It's the Glass Jar.
On this card I started with the Paper House blossom paper pix and made sure there was
room on the fun floral and butterfly paper to add the acrylic jar piece and still
add some fun rubon butterflies and flowers behind it.
I added the matted and layered sentiment, inked the edges and it was done.

In this close up you can see the rubons behind the acrylic but then on top of it and
posititioned on top of butterflies I added some gem stones. Adds depth and
texture to my card.

Thanks for visiting today.. be sure to visit again.. I have some
fabulous ideas to share with you soon.

JnW Crafts and my first official DT post

Hi .. so excited to share my first ever DT post at JnW Crafts.
A totally new line of products .. what a great new journey and adventure and I get
to ride the wave with them.... how cool is that?
Well it was hard to know where to start but this cross caught my eye and I
thought of an idea for a Baptism card.

I wanted the cross to be gold and the liquid pearls not only covered it but
gave it a textured look which was perfect.
The main base covered using a few drops of different colours of Alchohol Inks.
I added some strips of gold paper, some dew drops, some rubon accents and
then added some more liquid pearl streaks to the base also.

With the main accent alread I took a base card size piece of print paper
with just a touch of florals and words that also had some turquoise blue in
the paper. I weaved a ribbon through the paper on the sideto match the colour and
made the sentiment that I matted with print paper also.

Sure hope you love the look of this new product and how I used it.
