Creative Embellishments June 1st Challenge using a SIT Sketch

At Creative Embellishments our June 1st Challenge is the fabulous mood board below and the twist is to use something celestial... like the sun, moon or stars. I created the page above inspired by this theme and loved the chipboard accents available from the store to co-ordinate with it. I chose to accent the chipboards with sparkle. I used some liquid pearls and also some nuvo glimmer paste.  The results were perfect.

With multi tasking this month I used the sketch from Sketches in Thyme (below) as design inspiration. If yo love it too come play along with us.

Chipboards: Alphabet Blocks, moon stars, Sun and Moon

Other: paper, twine, ink, cardstock

For your viewing I have a few close up shots and will tell you a bit about my process.

So above I started with some main pieces to create my page. Large card circle with twine tied around it, matted photo, some strip accent paper pieces....

I fussy cut some flowers from the paper, and the wheel barrel accent. .. 

You can see the tied twine better here too.

Liquid Pearls and some nuvo glitter paste to finish off the chipboard treatment.

Flowers are popped up over the flower cluster in the paper.

Amazing glimmer to the chipboard accents was perfect.
